Publisher's summary

Kennedy thought she was in danger before, but she hasn’t seen anything yet.

Being kidnapped, getting beaten up by a belligerent cop, and finding herself on a hijacked airplane might have been scary, but nothing can prepare missionary kid Kennedy Stern for the faith-stretching trials that await her during her last two years of college.

The fast-paced, impossible to pause conclusion to the Kennedy Stern Christian suspense series tackles issues of persecution, women’s rights, and free speech while offering the same degree of excitement, adrenaline, and danger you’ve come to expect from Women of Faith award-winning author Alana Terry.

Sister Lucy

Sister Lucy is my favorite character. When she first appeared, I thought she was a hallucination of Kennedy. I am glad she was real. This made the story for me.

Would lead you back to a prayer life

I loved the way grandma Lucy stayed praying about all things and everything. How it was just so natural for her to stop and pray know matter where or who was around. This book although the incidents were a bit much and frequent for Kennedy, I found it very encouraging for one’s spiritual journey.

Kennedy’s faith journey

After listening to the three box sets I feel Alana’s writing grew and the narration improved. I enjoyed the real and honest growth of Kennedy in her faith journey. Her doubts and fears are what many young adults go through as they experience this world on their own and have their own experiences with doubting and trusting God’s plan and goodness.

Alana Terry is getting better with each book

This whole series has been really good. I am certain each book got better than the last.

With this last book I found myself laughing out loud and also on the “edge of my seat” through many of the moments.

Well done Ms. Terry! Well done. Thanks so much for the good read!

was very disappointed in the last 3 especially "Captivated"

The last 3 books in this series disappointed me. Especially the last one. I kept expecting something, anything, to raise Kennedy out of her total absorption with herself. She never seemed to be able to figure out that God works on HIS timetable, not hers. God had a reason for Ian's captivity that most readers understood, but not Kennedy. She just whined away blaming God for what SHE was feeling. I wanted to shake her and tell her to grow up. Despite the beautiful examples of trusting people constantly surrounding her, she just never seemed to understand that she is not the center of the universe. God is.
