About this listen

Father, Patriarch, Conqueror. Theo's done it all, and he's ready to settle down. But his enemies have other plans.

Far from the Hearthwood, his enemies plot against him. The Cult of the Unblinking Eye schemes. An arrogant Satyr King demands. A swarm of dragons hungers. And an evil twin has plans of his own.

At home, the Hearthwood has never been better. With Sam and Dean at his side once again, Theo thinks his days of battle and struggle are behind him. Now's the time to build and raise his family to face the future.

But his enemies are not dead, and not all his foes are conquered. And now with a family to protect, the stakes have never been higher.

For as Theo's power has grown, so too has that of his foes. Caught up in schemes that span worlds, the Sorcerer realm won't be enough to keep him and his clan alive. Even the power of The Wanderer won't grant him an edge against enemies with just as many tricks up their sleeves.

Theo will have to dig deep down and draw forth that old grit and determination to protect all that he holds dear.

Contains mature themes.

elves, orc, elves, and Magic with incantations

I binged through all the books. I would have been done sooner but I got bored for a bit around book 7. not because of the book but my attention span said, not today, today we don't know what we're doing.

Great Story

Love the twists and turns in the story making you keep guessing. The character development is nice as well to add more to the main character and other characters. The voice acting was nice and I can't wait for the next one in this series.

a wonderful entry to the series

and with that I have finished the second to last book in the series. the final book is out now. it's only waiting the audio treatment. no idea when the audiobook might come out for it. now that I'm here at the ending of this book I'm kind of going back and forth whether or not I can wait for the audiobook or just go ahead and finish the series now and revisit it when the audio eventually drops. the narrator has done a fantastic job throughout the series as far as I'm concerned. the writing has been quality all the way through. when it comes to my personal preferences certain parts were way over the top then my standard Fair when it comes to entertainment, but overall I've enjoyed the story and I have my fingers crossed that the author can successfully conclude the series. or I guess I should say has successfully concluded the series. I don't want to risk spoiling anything for anybody so I will limit what I have to say about this book to the fact that our main character gets a reality check as to how he's been doing as a ruler. he also settles up with the King of the other world. there's a couple of sad bits in there and I'm curious how he's going to resolve the remaining one in the next story. with that I think of rambled it along enough and so I will simply say Well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the audiobook listeners.

If youre this far in you'll like it but

I felt like this one needed a bit more focus. It took some odd turns a couple times. Otherwise its as good as always. Sex scenes a bit long at times but thats the usual. My main complaint is lack of focus on some of the children. He's so focused on power leveling him and his matriarchs that he doesnt do enough for his sons or oldest daughters imo. Those are nitpicks though and overall I like this.

Storyline and voice acting.

This has been an incredible series so far. I have zero regrets using my credits to get this entire series.

Best book yet

Whiteknight's storytelling is masterful, weaving together a complex and engaging plot that is full of twists and turns. The concept of Theo navigating through the treacherous world of satyrs to protect his kingdom and his people is both compelling and thought-provoking. The author's vivid descriptions and attention to detail bring the world of the story to life, immersing me in a fully realized and immersive fantasy realm.

What truly sets King of Satyrs apart is its ability to seamlessly blend action, intrigue, and emotion into a seamless narrative that keeps readers hooked until the very last page. Theo. Dean, and Sam are well-developed and relatable, each with their own motivations and complexities that add depth to the overall story.

Overall, King of Satyrs is a must-read for fans of the spellheart novels. Whiteknight's imaginative storytelling and enthralling concepts make this book a standout in the series, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a captivating and immersive read.
