Publisher's summary

Vampire Michael Glass just received the call he's been waiting for all his life. His music has attracted the attention of a heavily connected music producer who wants him to cut a demo and play some dates - which means that Michael will have to enter the human world. But he won't be alone. He's been assigned an undead escort, which includes immortal enforcer Oliver, as well as Michael's human friends: rebellious Eve, oft-misunderstood Claire, and courageous Shane.

And with that mix of personalities, this is going to be a road trip from hell. But what waits for them proves more perilous than they thought. Caught between humans who hate them and a savage party of traveling vampires out to create a blood-soaked feast for themselves, Michael and his friends may not make it to the show on time...or ever.

Morganville Vamps Rock By Leaving Town

Where does Kiss of Death rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a pretty good book, but it isn't exceptional. The story is very unique even for the Morganville series, but even that can’t put this audiobook to the front of the pack. The audio performance just isn’t completely there. After originally reading the book myself, the audio performance of this book felt flat. (Which is a strange occurrence since I always read the book before purchasing the audiobook.)

Who was your favorite character and why?

Claire as always is my favorite character, however, Oliver needs some love after his role in this book. Evil as always Oliver crushes the hopes and dreams of our beloved heroes at the end of the book. Yet, we definitely see some character development and growth with Oliver leaving everyone (readers and heroes alike) wondering if Oliver isn't the stereotypical villain he presents himself as.

What about Cynthia Holloway’s performance did you like?

I really didn't like the performance. It just rubbed me the wrong way.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved the book. It took us out of Morganville but proved that while you can leave the crazy vampire town behind the crazy will still chase you down and try to kill you. The end of the book was the most emotional for me since we were able to see the characters enjoy life out of Morganville only to have to go back once again.

another good one

except again, the author thinks us readers are too stupid to remember that ‘Dan’, who abducted, drained, and was going to kill Claire, was ‘Dean’. jeez! idk about you, but iii’m Not stupid! ..

Kiss of Death Book 8

Kiss of Death: The Morganville Vampires Book 8 Yeah, the Glass House gang gets to leave town!!!! What could possibly go wrong especially with Oliver as a babysitter ~~~ EVERYTHING! Who would have thought they would have ran into the mess in another town? Didn't want to put it down, luckily was able to listen to this while cleaning. Definitely recommend this series 📚 book📕 !! Now I have to start book 9

Morely gets more than he bargained for.

Out of Morganville and into the real world Claire and her friend run into a small town where they don't fit in. I means a lot of trouble for the but that isn't the half of it. Morely and his group have escaped Morganville and are on the loose. It just keeps getting stranger. Bishop hasn't finished causing trouble for them and they must clean up the mess. Oliver is along for some comical relief. He is the chaperon. Black his lay in wait for the whole group. Michael still has to make it to the audition and Claire and Shane must decide if they will strike out on their own.
It is one of the best stories in the series. I do wonder though, will Claire join the vamps if Shane leaves and what is happening between Michael and Eve. Then the is the question about Morely.

Amazing I loved it!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loved the storyline where they are in a town that is run by vampires. I loved how Michael was a ghost, and then he turned into a vampire to be a little walk outside his house. I love all the romance. I can never find books that have romance and action, but this book has it all. one thing that is kind of bad is it says pretty frequently, some curse words all throughout the series. So if you are thinking to let your little little kid read it, you should probably wait until they are older like 13 years old. It also has A LOT of kissing in it so if you don’t like that wait until you do. This book is awesome I’m not trying to talk it down, I just want to warn you. 😁😁😁

Road Trip From Hell! Book 8 of the Morganville Vampires.

Michael is noticed by a big time executive who wants to record him in his studio in Dallas.

With permission and vampire escorts, Michael hits the road with his friends, Eve, Claire, and Shane.

What was supposed to be an awesome road trip turns into a hellish nightmare. Backwood-type rednecks become the least of their problems when new vamps start terrorizing them.

Will they ever make it to the recording studio in Dallas? Will they survive the hidden terrors in the small towns between Morganville and their destination? Listen, as Cynthia Holloway brings this adventure to life (or death).

So good!

The books get even more exciting the further into the series you get. They should be read in order. Some of them are cliffhangers. All of them pick up where the last one left off.

Morganville Book 8 is a thud

On my dad's account! :)
So Okay I have read every single morganville book and i love them a few better than others but by far this book was just a thud morganville should take place in MORGANVILLE..
Because well a huge seris of events happened but does it ever get to the point?
I mean yeah some things were exciting to read or Hear but if you think about it..This book just really sucked i didn't find myself sucked into the world of this book i would usually listen to it whilist doing something like facebook but this book was so unintresting that i didn't even know it was on it gets boring.
I mean I saw ALOT more spice in Clarie this time around but it just seems it's the same border line vampire story in this one it's not unique like the others this one is just
Vampire and friends going out of morganville trouble is gonna happen not going to do what they said they were etccc. It's predictable.
