I am sad this series is over (I am going to research to see if there were any spinoffs with a certain other phoenix!) and was happy with this ending but I wanted moooore.

I was happy I waited to listen to these until all were available because that cliffhanger in book 4 was heart-wrenching! I was happy to see the guys were ok while Ryls was gone and it wasnt a super long time before she got in contact with them. I laughed at how Xerxes was in sweats and it was like the end of the world (boy would I love to see an art print of that hahaha). Will actually grew on me and I wish we had a longer book 5 so he could have more time. I mean he gets some alone with her but not long. I loved the different reactions of the guys when Ryls was able to make it back to the living and I was sad we only got a glimpse of her mom and wished she could go back and hang out with her mom and their mates based on the changes the gatekeeper wanted to institute when she goes back.

I think for me this felt rushed for a finale. I shook my head she was captured again (even if she went willingly haha) since it happens almost every book. I thought the way she took out the baddies was anticlimactic but it’s hard when she is now like an all powerful creature. I wish we got to see her in her form again and we got a real battle at the end. That is why I couldn’t give it a 5 star; book 4 was still my favorite and was the closest to 5 stars out of the series. I will say I laughed so hard in a lot spots (the funny pop song references, especially timber haha, the way Ryls dies at the weirdest times, the evil spider, etc.

Narration was as good in this one like it was in the others! This seemed better quality in terms of the volume differences between the narrators (unlike books 3 and 4 where it was very prevalent). I thought the emotion from the guys when they saw her for the first time was amazingly done, when Ryls got to meet her mom was heartbreaking, when a got a POV from Ryls’ new friend, and Imp’s antics haha (especially when she saw the Queen in the real world).

Overall I really enjoyed this series, I will be checking out her other series because a lot of them have puny titles/series so I was like sign me up 🤣❤️

I really loved this series. It was absolutely hilarious at times. It had a strong yet accident prone FMC and sexy MMc’s! It was action packed with plenty of steam! 🌶️🌶️ Sorry to see it end but looking forward to the next series in this world! ❤️

What a fun series. We have been all over with the Phoenix who finds 100 different ways to die. Watching her find her mates, fight for her life and just wanting to be happy. So many laughs along the war. Just a fun story line across the board. This conclusion ends with a happily ever after but has left some open ends of side characters. Would love to see a epilogue or novella of what this crazy groups life is like a little down the way. This series has been such a joy to listen to. The narrators were phenomenal and just brought this story to life. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the whole series. I agree I wish there was more information about her and her human mate Willard but I am glad they worked out. I am disappointed about some of the storyline cliffhangers. I don’t want to send spoilers so I will keep quiet. I am just hoping 😠😅 there is another few books in the NEAR future that will fix that.

A seamless transition from book 4, starting exactly where the last book ended. This was Ryls resolution story full of the crazy, funny and convoluted adventures Rhys stories always treat us to as readers/listeners. A special treat are the bonus chapters at the end of the audiobook! Even though this Ryls adventure has a HEA, I know we'll see her again in the series spin off following the Phoenix Queen's adventures. Can't wait! The narrators did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. Enjoy!

Great ending to the series

This last book to the series felt rushed, thin, anticlimactic, just overall not well done. Yes, all of the main points were touched on and finished but all those points felt rushed, as if the author was done with this and ready to move on. It certainly wasn't as interesting, funny, nor as satisfying as the other books in this series and that is a complete shame. The final book in any series should give a sense of all the warm and fuzzies but instead I got the sense that this author was d•o•n•e. The narrators were about the same as usual: the male narrator did a very good job with all the different accents (he had 7 mates to keep straight!) but the female narrator consistently came across flat.

First THANK YOU FOR NOT USING VIRTUAL VOICE The narrator did a great Job. Loved the story just too many sex seems than I would like but because I loved the story and the plucky out spoken main character I listen to all three and loved them.
