Publisher's summary

Thorne isn't ready to fall in love. His wife has been gone for only two years; he's still a grieving widower. Most days, he's not sure if he'll ever be ready to open his heart again. A simple, quiet existence with his beloved son, Mason, will have to be enough for him - and when it's not, he's got his friends in the Howling Hills pack to take up the slack.

Omega Logan is trying hard just to stay afloat. Not only has he just been made redundant at his job, his beloved Nan is quickly slipping away into the hereafter. When she passes, he will lose not only the last of his family but also the roof over his head. He's running out of options...until fate steps in, taking the form of a child's lost stuffed elephant.

Returning the stuffed animal to his owner gives Logan a sense of purpose - and a job. Thorne needs a manny to care for Mason during the day. Logan needs an income. That Thorne is the hottest alpha Logan has ever met doesn't even matter, because Thorne is obviously straight...isn't he?

When Logan's heat hits unexpectedly, the tentative feelings between the two men burst into something deeper - something richer. Fate has given Thorne a second chance at love and family...but with his heart on the line, will Thorne choose the specter of his past? Or a brighter, happier future?

Knot the Manny is a wolf shifter mpreg romance audio book with a guaranteed happily ever after. It is the third audio book in the Howling Hills Heat series, where finding your fated mate isn't just a dream - it's destiny.

Love Knot

Remember those love knot brackets you made when you were kids at camp, well this is not that kind. <winks> this is a very hot M/M Paranormal combined with a backstory which is real one many couples face, that of the loss of a spouse and the remaining spouse’s struggle to move forward.
Add in the fact that this handsome widower has an adorable son and is need of a caregiver to manage his young one while he works.
Oh, did I mention he’s a shifter? Yes mix all that in and stir well and you have a paranormal delight.
As for audio...Randi Johnson is like hot fudge on ice cream <smooth>.
All and all I’d file this under sweet and hot love

Enjoyable listen

I really enjoyed this story right from the start.
I thought the narration was great and the voices used were well done.
A sweet adorable if somewhat predictable mpreg story.

A cute story with a single dad and cute kid.

This is the first book for me by Liam Kingsley but it's the second one narrated by Randi Johnson. Knot the Manny is book 3 in the Howling Hills series but I haven't read the others and I didn't feel lost.

While this was a sweet story about an Omega becoming the caregiver for a widowed Alpha's child there was one thing that really bugged me. [Small spoiler ahead. I don't understand how Logan's grandmother could leave her house to charity knowing that it would leave him homeless.] Once I got past that the story continued on OK for me.

Randi Johnson's narration is getting better. His voice is pleasant to listen to but still seems a bit too emphatic in parts of the story. It could be that this is just his style and I need to get used to it. I have a few more audiobooks in my library that he's narrated and I'll be listening to them soon.

A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

Fated mates

This is a wonderful story of an alpha learning to love again, an easy going omega and the little boy that brings them together.
Randi Johnson does a wonderful job narrating this book.

Enjoyable Story With Displeasing Narration.😔

I'm a huge fan of Liam Kingsley, and have listened to many of his books which I have throughly enjoyed. This one as well. T & L's story was sweet even though I would have handled some situations differently, it was still a gratifying story. What wasn't gratifying was the narration of Randi Johnson. It was very difficult trying to decipher the 2 main characters voices. He didn't change them. At one point I had almost listened to the whole chapter until I realized it was the other character speaking instead of the one I thought.😣No disrespect to Randi Johnson, but, he needs to work on his characters voices. That being said, I still recommend this book.

Little stuffed elephant brings so much love!

What a heart-wrenching and heartwarming story. I loved how the author dealt with the loss of a beloved mate, loss of a family member, and how these losses affect all involved. There is an instant attraction between Thorne and Logan when they first meet. We get to see how Thorne battles with the guilt of wanting to move on verses his memory of his beloved deceased wife.

Randi Johnson gives us distinctive voices for the characters. Thorne's voice has that alpha tone to it, while Logan has an omega tone to it. I really love the little boy voice he gave Mason. It is so endearing and whimsical. Randi makes this story even more heartwarming.

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. This entrancing story with its wonderful narration will tug at your heart. It is filled with so much emotion. Moving on is never easy. I highly recommend this Audible book.

love finds a way

Your heart can't help ache a bit for both Logan and Thorne's situation, but happily common sense, heart, and love prevail overall. It seems like Molly tried to bring these two together from the start with the lost elephant, and that tugs at the heart strings. The narrator's voice and expressions were awesome. Great read/listen.

Second Chances

I loved Randi's narration especially of Mason the 2 year old boy. His other narrative of the other characters were great as well, you could tell the difference between them...I did have a little trouble picking up from where I left off when I stopped it for awhile..the inner monologue sounded the same. I don't know if that's the same in all audiobooks or not...I'm new to them.
The story itself was so sweet and also heartbreaking at the same time.
Logan comes to be a Manny for Thorn's son Mason after finding Mason's lost blue elephant.
Thorn lost his wife in childbirth and he hadn't dealt with his grief properly in the 2 years since she's been gone.
When Thorn and Logan realize that they're fated things start getting hard on Thorn with the guilts.
Will he man up and stay with Logan or run away?
I love how the author handled the sensitive subject of grief, loss and trying to love again.
