About this listen

Found in Beaumont, Lost in Dallas, Secret in Houston, Home in Austin

Four Books.... One Complete Volume!

Two broken omegas and one hard-edged alpha...three men who are stronger than they think...especially when they trust each other enough to be vulnerable.

Lukas and Gideon are fully aware the streets are not kind to two omegas in love, but they have faith this won't be their life forever. One day, they'll find an alpha to love them both. Beaumont can't escape his memories of war, but can he find a new mission in guarding these two angels from the dangerous of the world? And together, can they find love and healing?

Tropes for Found in Beaumont: MMM triad, menage, hurt comfort

Kyle isn't a victim...he's a survivor who needs to learn his worth.

Gym owner Dallas has had a crush on his tall, thick omega employee since day one, but until Kyle's abusive relationship crashes to pieces, he doesn't dare make a move. Kyle's happiness and health - emotional, mental, and physical - is more important to him than a sexy roll in the hay, however, and he builds a fitness challenge for Kyle, addressing all three issues in one. But when desire takes them unawares and Kyle becomes pregnant, the physical changes threaten to tear Kyle's fragile confidence apart. Can Dallas convince him he's loveable, regardless of his waist size?

Tropes for Lost in Dallas: employee/boss relationship, big, beautiful omega, overcoming domestic abuse

Secrets always come out in the end.

Snarky omega Houston never expected to have a passionate fling with his brother's best friend, but who can resist a man in uniform? He truly didn't expect to end up pregnant with his baby. Before he has a chance to tell him, Cody's helicopter is shot down and he's held captive by insurgents for a year. And when he gets back...he has no memory of dating his best friend's sexy little brother. How can Houston tell anyone that he's the father of his child when no one, not even Cody, knew they were involved? But when the child falls desperately ill, only Cody can save him, and buried secrets must be brought to light.

Tropes for Secret in Houston: secret baby, military romance, best friend's brother

Take one pregnant omega who’s all alone in the world....

Alone and pregnant, Owen can barely feed himself, let alone pay for basic prenatal care. But if there's one thing he learned growing up in foster care, it's that you can't count on anyone else. So how can he trust Austin when the alpha offers him a deal he can't refuse: get married, and I'll take care of you until the baby is born. No strings attached. There's nothing in it for Austin! With no other choice, Owen accepts, but he's determined to keep his guard up. It's hard, though, when his fake husband turns out to be an awesome dad and doesn't seem in any hurry to let him go. But can he risk falling in love with him, or is it all a mirage?

Tropes for Home in Austin: strangers to friends to lovers, fake relationship, slow burn

This series contains darker themes than you might be used to from Susi Hawke, but HEAs and all the laughs, naughty-knotty times, and shmoopy feels that you'd expect are definitely included! No new material has been added. This bundle contains all four full-length books in one handy volume.

So sweet!

John Solo for the win! this series is so sweet and John manages to bring the gruffness of an Alpha as well as the sometimes timid sometimes naughty edge to the omega while keeping the story at the forefront. I adore these boys! I have read these books, listened to the audio books individually and then binged on the box set. Beau might be my favorite but that's a different story all together. So well written!

Caring Set of Brothers

Review - I listened to the box set as an audio book. I enjoyed this series of stories very much. It is a great set of stories that span many different types of situations and building relationships between the different brothers.
1 - Found in Beaumont - Beau, Lukas and Gideon - This story is so sweet. I love the relationship that Lukas and Gideon already have and how Beau becomes a part of that. I love how he always respected what was between the two men. There are some really sweet feels in this first story in the series.
2 - Lost in Dallas - Dallas, Kyle - I like that these two have been working together for a while when this story starts. Kyle is in a toxic relationship but he gets himself out. I love the way that his relationship with Dallas develops. Another great story.
3 - Secret in Houston - Houston and Cody - I love how this story starts out with some drama that you don't fully understand. There were so many tense moments in this story and so many feels. I feel that this story has bit of different vibe from the first two stories but turns out really well.
4 Home in Austin - Owen and Austin - I love the sweet way this story moves through with Austin being in the right place at the right time to provide what Owen needs. This story is a great wrap to the series with a lots of good feels.

A Great Series of Stories

This audiobook contains all 4 books of the Lone Star Brothers Series. This is a great way to enjoy each of the brother’s stories. Each brother is named for the town that they were born in. Which I though was a cute idea for this series.

The first story is Found in Beaumont a fantastic story the writing was great. I loved this story and read/listened to it in one sitting. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the story. I found the story and characters intriguing. The characters were developed and thought out. Beau is an Alpha and Lukas & Gideon are Omegas and they are the MC’s of this story. I loved Gideon’s nick name for Lukas it was cute. There was humor, an attack, a gym, swimming, babies, a hospital, brothers and so much more in this story.

The second story is Lost in Dallas. A sensational story the writing was great. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the story. I found the story and characters wonderful. The characters were developed and thought out. Kyle is an Omega and Dallas is an Alpha and they are the MC’s of this story. There was humor, police, knives, a Gym, friends and family, abuse, food and so much more. Even though this story has domestic abuse in it the way the author wrote didn’t weigh the book down with all the negativity about such a subject. Yet focused on the positive like surviving and the hope that can come after. I did enjoy this story and thought that the author did a great job.

The third story is Secret in Houston. Another great and well written story. This one is about Houston and Cody. This one was harder for me to enjoy not because it was written bad or the serious issues that are written about. But because of a couple of actions that Houston does, and these are personal issues for me. And they may not bother others. It was still a good story and worth reading/listening.

The fourth story Home in Austin. Again, a fantastic story that with great writing. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the story. I found the story and characters captivating. The characters were developed and thought out. Austin is an Alpha and Owen is an Omega and they are the MC’s of this story. There was humor, germs, babies, friends and family, loss, art, Christmas and more in this book.

The narration was done well. He had different voices for each character. He wasn’t monotone, and the flow of his narration was good. He made the book enjoyable to listen too.

Here is a quote from the book, “Lukas looked at me knowingly. “Why do I have a feeling that this has been brewing in your head for a lot longer than the past hour or so since we took those tests?” I gave him my most innocent look. “I don’t know. Because you have a suspicious mind?“ “Yeah, babe. We’ll go with that.”. There is more but you will need to read/listen to the book which I can recommend as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Beautiful, poignant, and funny!

These stories are darker than I’m used to: I tend to prefer low angst, lighthearted stories as I’m really empathetic and struggle to shake off lingering emotions when real life interrupts a story I’m reading/listening to, but I do love really touching stories of recovery from dark times, and I love Susi Hawke, so I gave these a try and I am definitely adding these stories to my favorites list! She handled these stories so incredibly well, dealing with loss, severe ptsd, domestic abuse, etc, and sharing how each character overcame their individual challenges and found they’re HEA through coping skills they learn plus the support and love of their found family. So many laughs along the way, too, sometimes lightening the heaviness a bit or relieving the tension after a darker scene, and frequently found in family scenes to keep the overall story happy and hopeful. I cannot recommend this series enough! ❤️

Lone stars brothers are destined for HEA

I have always liked listening to Susi Hawke stories narrated by John Solo. I think they complement each other so well and this bundle is definitely not an exception. I mean almost 24 hours of lovely listen for just one credit, this is too good a deal.

I like that all the stories in this bundle are not as fluffy and cute as the usual Susi Hawke ABO stories. They deal with real and difficult issues of the society and the harsh reality of the world. There’s some psychological trauma, attempted sexual abuse, domestic violence and health issues. Although it was a bit angsty in the beginnings, as true to her words, all couples found happily ever after in the end. Lost in Dallas was my favorite in the series since I was very fascinated by the Omega in this story. All in all, a very satisfying and enjoyable listen. Highly recommended.
