About this listen

Is there really a spirit world? And if there is, can those disembodied souls communicate with the living?

Can departed love ones speak to family from beyond the grave?

These are questions Walt must ponder when a bizarre series of paranormal events lead his friend, Mary, to a treasure hidden away for seventy years, and a family she never knew existed.

Walt’s ultimate answer lies in the words of the Professor, “There are still many things beyond the comprehension of mortal man.”

A light-hearted look at things that go ‘bump’ in the night.

All of the books in this series are enjoyable & it’s because they are all unique. This book had a lot of heartwarming moments about family & tracing back the history of some coins which may or may not be “cursed.” It has a lot of laughs, a lot of light hearted fun, but also some profound topics that make you feel warm & fuzzy inside. Mary is featured a lot more in this book & we learn about her back story & past which I LOVED! All the characters are so lovable in this series & it’s a real joy to see their lives evolve.

Heartwarming & funny!

This was a new twist for Walt to take and I enjoyed the supernatural part of it. Waiting to hear the next one in this fantastic series.

In medicine and police work there is no such thing as coincidence. This installment is more unorthodox than the others, but that's still a good thing. And we still get a well researched history lesson to boot! The publisher's blurb gives hints, but maybe a subtitle could be Walt Williams and the Series of FORTUNATE Events. A wonderful read, not to be missed!
George Kuch continues to be excellent as narrator.

Great history and great read!

Adventure awaits for the crew this time and we meet some really cool and interesting people as well as some crooked ones. I loved the treasure hunting part of this book with the comedy parts that were involved at the time. This group just get better every time I listen to them.

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I don't know if I believe in ghosts. What I do know is this book was packed with unexplained events, long-lost family members, several funny "you wouldn't believe it if I told you" moments, and a long-buried treasure. As usual, Robert Thornhill and George Kuch outdid themselves in the writing and narration of this book. I hope this series never ends!

This book is about Mary finds out she has a sister who gives her their mother's diary and there is hidden treasure described so the crew goes treasure hunting with help from the paranormal. There are laugh out loud one moments. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend this series that enjoy fun mysteries and need break from the dark. Keep them coming THANK YOU!!!!

This is the Walt story I absolutely love!!!! It has a little bit of everything that you want. Seriousness, humor, romance, mystery. Not all the political agenda that a lot of people/tv shows/ books/etc go for. This book at one point made me tear up but it was sooo worth it!! can't wait for the next book. Definitely recommend this one!!!

Back to What I Loved to begin with!!!

Robert Thornhill has done it again. Book 23 in his wonderful series just might be my favorite yet. Walt and the clan come across ghostly help. I would have not thought of these encounters as ghosts but as guardian angels. I have had a few experiences in my life with guardian angels and you will never forget them. Thank you Robert for reminding me. This series just keeps getting better and better. Once again George Kuch does a wonderful job of narrating this series. He is the voice of Walt for m

Might be my favorite one yet

As much as I loved the last book this was a fun change. Great story, makes you wonder if the spirit don't give us a hand sometimes from the other side. Another great book from Robert Thornhill. I love Walt and the rest of the crew. I can't wait to see what happens next!!!
