Publisher's summary

A mysterious box left by a dying man falls into Walt’s hands. He learns, much to his dismay, that the box is being sought by agents from four countries. Walt has no idea what the box contains but is told that in the right hands it could be a blessing to mankind, but in the wrong hands, a curse.

Walt is charged with the safekeeping of the box, but at what expense? Others who have come in contact with the box are dead. At some point, Walt must decide whether the contents of the box are worth risking the lives of those closest to him.

You'll need a notepad to keep track of this one...

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Wow, just when I think there's nothing the author could write that would surprise me, along comes this book. There are so many players after the mysterious box, you'll need a notepad to keep track of who is after it, who has it, and who was killed for it. Does anyone know what is in the box? I'm not telling; you'll just have to get the book to find out.

Walt Needs a Larger Safe

I absolutely love this series as they are thought provoking with humor. In this book it a box that holds a secret that travels from Los Angeles to Kansas City and anyone who possess it end up dead’ It ends up with Walt causing many problems from different assassins from US and other countries trying to get it. Poor Maggie is kidnapped again and wonder what the box really contains. I love all of the characters especially Walt and his extended family and Keith. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend if you enjoy thought provoking mysteries with humor. Keep them coming! I was given this free audiobook by author and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU!!!!

Whats in the box? (spoilers)

Oh Walt. He always seems to step in it no matter how hard he tries to avoid trouble. When his fathers girlfriend's estranged brother shows up and promptly dies in Walt's hotel he ends up with hit men, government agents, Chinese, Russians, and more after him and try to steal the box that ended up in his unsuspecting hands. Ordered to protect the box at any cost he struggles to determine what it is, why everyone seems to want it at any cost, and what the heck he is going to do next. Another great story in the series. Wow, this was a nail biter!

Wow, this installment of the series had me on the edge of my seat through the entire book. There isn’t one moment of lull, and with every word I was sucked in. From the very first page a mysterious box is found & everyone who possesses this box ends up being taken out by a group who is determined to get it back. By dumb luck, Walt gets ahold of the box & a tense game of cat & mouse ensues. With every word I breathlessly worried about Walt, as the people around him were being taken out & more foreign agencies were after him & the box. Again I say wow, it was a nail biter every step of the way. Amazing narration as always by George Kuch

Excellent read

Lady Justice and the Mysterious Box is my thirty-second enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Another entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners. Throughout the book I found myself smiling a lot & at times laughing out loud. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Up next is Lady Justice and the Mystery Mansion. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
