Five Nights at Freddy's fans won't want to miss this collection of three chilling stories that will haunt even the bravest FNAF player...

Some secrets are better left hidden . . . A forbidden artifact from her fiance’s past beckons to Selena. Jessica leads a double-life from her friends and coworkers in the children’s wing of a hospital. Maya can’t resist the temptation to explore an off-limits area of Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. But in the world of Five Nights at Freddy's, everything comes with a price to pay. In this first volume, Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length tales from uncharted corners of his series' canon. Listeners beware: This collection of terrifying tales is enough to rattle even the most hardened Five Nights at Freddy's fans.

Enjoyed

These stories are scary and gory. If you’re ok with that, they are good. Well written and the narrator is very good. I listen with my 13 year old son who loves the video games.

I love this series and had just got the other books in the series but this one was missing among the books so I got it one here, it was awesome to here how some characters had been voiced.

Unfinished is Unsatisfying…

I’m not saying the stories weren’t compelling, but they were incredibly intense with very little payoff. Jessica’s story is very much a Twilight Zone episode, so it’s ending works out fine.

Selena and Cade’s story was odd in that TZ way, but the ending made no sense. Creepy, yes, but what actually happened to Janice? Is Selena’s soul inside Lally now? Does Lally get fed the souls of the women Cade marries? Is that how he’s able to move on so swiftly? What?

Maya is obviously dying of cancer from the AR simulator, but we don’t get any real payoff in that story, she just ceases to exist, and that’s it. And what was even the point of the construction story at the end? Why did we need that?

Anyway, the stories are worth the read, but please understand, an unfinished tale isn’t scary; it’s annoying. But that’s what at least 2 of the stories do. They “end” without actually ending. It’s not a compelling “omg, what happened??” It’s a “okay, I’ve figured out what happened, so how does the affect the survivors?” But we get absolutely no answers.

Not as good as Fazbear Frights

I absolutely loved the original story trilogy and the Fazbear Frights series, I had such high hopes for the Pizzaplex stories. I've read book #1 and #2 and I'm starting on book #3, I'm hoping it gets better. It seems the stories just aren't as good as they used to be. The BEST stories in the first two Pizzaplex books would be mediocre stories in Fazbear Frights, the stories you easily forget. The stories aren't as creepy, not as well written, too much lead up to a lackluster plot, way too many of the stories end without an ending. The main reason the other books are so good is because they're so well written, have great storylines, are pretty creepy, have twists and surprises, these books are missing these components. They're hardly even creepy or scary, not many surprises, the stories don't stay with you, they're not haunting. Of course Suzanne Elise Freeman's narration is amazing, she may be the best part of this series, for the audio version anyway. Maybe it's because Elley Cooper and Carly Ann West aren't helping to author this series, please bring them back! Fingers crossed the series gets better. 🤞❤️‍🩹🐻

Three good stories

so this book actually has three mini stories in it and I love them. the first one we can kind of tell what happened and being a long time FNAF fan I was able to tell where it was going. still a good ending and made me kind of sad second one. honestly, I hated the main female protagonist. she made so many dumb decisions that I genuinely wanted her to die. third one threw me for a loop and a genuinely leaves you asking questions of if what she is experiencing is reality or just augmented reality. All in all I highly recommend

Good stories but not perfect

The first story was my favorite and the epilogue is very intriguing. The other two stories were pretty alright with good characterization and the horror elements through ranged from good to middling.
