About this listen

How do you fight a foe that is fast, smart, and relentless? How do you prepare for an enemy that doesn't know pain, fear, or mercy? How do you stop the dead from rising again, ripping apart everything you've tried to rebuild?

John Talon and his crew race across the state, trying to stop the wave of zombie children from destroying the fragile communities struggling to rebuild after the Upheaval. John will learn the terrible lesson of sacrifice as he makes a final stand against the dead.

Entertaining! Like the interaction of characters and the scene development. Blood, guts and evil kids.

Fun and scary

I really enjoyed this little series. Not the creepiest zombie tale I’ve read but it was well paced, good main character group, and I liked how the author chose to move through the storyline by skipping events that must happen right after DC (Zombie Wars) but having characters allude to them to peak interest. And towards the end he introduces several characters that fought beside our main characters to stake America back from the dead. I have the tendency to binge listen to zombie stories like this despite that I often get a little bored of the repetition and often feel I should refresh my interest levels by switching to a different author, before coming back to the 1st series . Never do though but this author did it for me by hiring at events in the Zombie War period.

Not scary but lots of action

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

great short story, the author kept your attention with the kid zombies but this book was just the conclusion of book 5. At times it seem rush to fit inside of its 5 hour time frame, the author should have give more like his first few books...

Which character – as performed by Graham Halstead – was your favorite?

Great work Graham, your voice of multi-people are on point.

Any additional comments?

I am waiting to listen to the next book in this series, I just hope the author go back to telling a complete story rather than break one story into several books...this my last 5 hour zombie story I feel I paid for three books to hear one story.

Too Short, and just the conclusion end of Book 5.
