League of Gallize Shifters

League of Gallize Shifters boxed set by Dianna Love

Gray Wolf Mate by Dianna Love book 1
First in the paranormal League of Gallize Shifters romance series.
Shifters have been outed and the world struggles.
Cole left Tess back in their college days when he became a Shifter, the ring still in his pocket.
He is part of a secret group that protects humans. Tess works for a government agency that investigates paranormal crimes.
Cole believes he needs to protect and then leave Tess again, but his wolf calls Tess “Mate”.

An engrossing adventure and compelling read. I stayed up well into the night to finish it.
I really wanted this couple to work things out. I wanted to yell at him to “have faith” but since his concern was for her well-being, I couldn’t judge him too harshly. Maybe she should have shared more of what was going on with her physically. Like the healed arm that no one really talked about!

Lots of depth and back story that has barely been covered or explained yet. Lots of secondary characters I want to know more about. I can see this series going far and look forward to reading more.

Mating a Grizzly by Dianna Love book 2

2nd in the paranormal romance from the League of Gallize Shifters.
Justin and his bear Herc had no expectation of ever finding a mate. As an elite black ops warrior he protects those he is assigned to with dedication and authority. But his newest charge, Elianna, tries his patience by saying “No” for any request or order he tries to give her.
His new goal: get her to smile.
Elianna has had a difficult life and refuses to be treated like a princess. She finds Justin frustrating and he says the most outrageously silly things. The more time she spends with him, the more she and her bear are intrigued.

This couple was adorable in their attempting to understand each other but getting it wrong for the most part. When they finally talked it out, it was sweet to see their attraction and acceptance growing for each other.
It was amusing that Justin named his bear, even though technically they are one. The name then gave them separate and distinct personalities. Then add Monty to the mix. Humorous.

An intriguing paranormal romance series with enemies, lovers, deep friendships and a fatal mating curse. I look forward to reading more of these shifters finding their mates while defeating the drug runners.

League Of Gallize Shifters box set: Books 1 & 2

This is a box set of the first two in the LoG Shifters. The first is the story of Cole and Tess who were torn apart when he found out he was a latent wolf shifter. Humans were not happy to find out that these creatures roamed the earth. Now seven years later they have crossed paths and now need to either get closure or find out that they are mates willing to work out the two different worlds they now live in. This is the first book in this series.
The second book is about Justin and Elianna both are bear shifters. He is a Gallize and she is a hybrid cross of polar and grizzly. Both have not had a great childhood. He was a very late shifter and she was a cross of two different bears that neither clan wanted anything to do with her or her mom. She was sent to the US from Russia as an exchange bear. In other words her father got rid of her cause she was a constant reminder of his cheating on his mate. Now these two must stay alive to be able to complete the mate bond that showed up.
I will be getting the rest of the series of these special shifters later. Listening to them on audio was entertaining.

Shifters Meet Mystic

The Gallize shifters are a rare and special breed of shifters who combine the ability to shift from human to animal with assorted extra powers of a more mystical nature. Dedicated to policing shifters and protecting the world, they work for an ancient eagle shifter who controls their group. Meanwhile, they seem to have a rare talent for finding sexual, beautiful mates, though never without a whole lot of sass and a few challenges.

In Grey Wolf Mate, Tess and Cole had been deeply in love in college ... and then he'd left her behind. Now he's back and somehow involved with the shifters the criminal investigation unit she works for hunts down and prosecutes for their crimes ... and it turns out, he's a Gallize - a special kind of shifter. She's not sure she can trust him but she definitely still has feelings for him. Things couldn't be more complicated ... or could they?

In Mating a Grizzly, a Russian bear, the illegitimate daughter of of a grizzly alpha, is sent to North America to find a mate. One of the Guardian's warriors is sent to accompany her and see her safely to her new clan but of course, things aren't quite as simple as they seem.

I loved both stories with their hot alphas and beautiful, sassy mates. There's lots of action, some steamy sex, a few laughs and an all-round good story.

Getting both stories in one box-set is just an added bonus.

A Great Set

Life as a wolf shifter isn't always easy, especially when you work for a secret "police" force that tries to keep everyone safe, and on top of that add a curse. Find your mate by thirty or die. Could things get much worse? Of course it could. Life is not simple for the Gallize Shifters, but they are proud group of devoted individuals, working together to defeat a band of rogue shifters, while they look out for each other. Interesting characters, suspense and lots of action will keep you listen until the very end. This is a very enjoyable series, looking forward to listening to more of it. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review.

truly enjoyed

I really enjoyed this series, I felt like it was just enough adventure, just enough fantasy, just enough, adventure, danger, everything!

I liked how it wasn't too slow and I really could feel the emotions of the characters so I really really loved it!

Steamy, entertaining shifter series

This review is for both Gray Wolf Mate and Mating a Grizzly. I really enjoyed this boxed set. Since this is a review of both books, I'll review some of the things I that were common in both then review each book individually.

Both books are standalones, but are part of a larger shifter universe that has a common cast of characters with some interwoven plotlines. The box set, ebook and audio, includes books 1 and 2 of the series and you could have read book 2 without having read book 1. The author does a great job explaining the mythology behind the Gallize Shifters and the background you need to pick up the second book without having read the first. I hope this continues with the rest of the series. I'm not a new reader of Dianna Love's and she's always done a good job making sure there is continuity within the series. Both of these books get pretty steamy at times so if you are looking for a good paranormal romance with some heat, check this series out. This series is a bit different than other shifter series as not all of the characters shift into the same animal and the animals they turn into have their own personalities. I thought that was a nice touch and something different that you don't normally see in PNR. Both the shifter and their animal have to develop as characters through the story and I thought Love did a really good job making sure the personality of the human and the animal side got ample time for the reader to get to know them and develop. I also appreciate that the women in this story are just as powerful as the men. So far they each have abilities and strengths of their own as well as being intelligent and fierce. The couples compliment each other and make each other stronger.

Gray Wolf Mate - This is a second chance romance featuring a wolf shifter, Cole. Cole belongs to a sort of black ops organization of elite shifters who have powers above and beyond the normal shifter. His college sweetheart, Tess, works for a government organization that studies shifters in an attempt to protect humans. Tess is an extremely fair person so she wants to make sure that the law extends to shifters as well as humans. Cole left her when he found out he was a shifter, knowing that would not sit well with her family. Neither of them have gotten over each other, so when a case brings them back together they have to work together to solve the case and work through their feelings for each other.

Mating a Grizzly - This was actually my favorite of the two books. The narrator did a better job distinguishing between the characters in my opinion than in the first book. There was also a lot more humor in this book than the first one. The bear personalities of Justin and Elianna added some whimsy to the book that really came through in the narration. As you can tell Justin and Elianna are both bear shifters. He works with Cole from book 1 as a member of the Gallize, that black ops elite special forces group of shifters. Elianna is a bastard and an outcast because of her mixed blood. She makes a deal with her father to move to America to protect her brother, and Justin is tasked with protecting her. The two of them immediately don't get along because of their preconceived notions about one another, but they quickly have to get over their issues when it becomes clear that someone is after Elianna.

I really enjoyed this boxed set. I had a hard time putting it down once I got started with the audiobook. I think I listened to both books in 2 days. I'm looking forward to catching up on the rest of the series and finding out about the other members of the Gallize and their mates.

Great Read

I enjoyed the 2 book set. I would have liked having a female do the female parts. But over all I enjoyed the series.
