Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Fun and educational!
Learn ABC and Numbers by Sophie Davis is a wonderful audiobook – lots of great fun and learning. It is upbeat, easy to follow, and packed with playful phonics, simple math concepts, and fun spelling. I’ve been listening to it in the car with my 4 year old niece. She really loves it and has a great time following along. It’s great to have car rides that are fun and educational at the same time!

More tablet time!
Now my kids get to listen to their tablets more! This book is very comprehensive. It provides challenges yet goes from easy to more complex. I like to stop the book to give the kids a chance to write the words or numbers. I have a pre-schooler and a 1st grader and they both benefit from the content of this book. Teachers and parents will all love this book. Lots to appreciate here and hours of fun and education. Grab this book!

Great book for young kids!
Learn ABC and Numbers is a delightful and engaging audiobook designed to spark curiosity and learning in young children. This 4-in-1 collection blends the foundations of phonics, spelling, and basic math into an immersive auditory experience that’s both educational and entertaining. Tailored for children aged 3 to 8, the audiobook combines fun and structure, making it a perfect tool for parents and educators seeking to support early childhood development.
The narration is warm and energetic, holding the listener’s attention while reinforcing key concepts through repetition, rhythm, and playful tones. Children are gently guided through the ABCs, early phonics sounds, number recognition, counting, and basic math skills in a way that feels more like a game than a lesson. This approach fosters a positive emotional connection to learning, helping kids build confidence as they master new skills.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this audiobook is the insight it provides into how young minds learn. It emphasizes the importance of interactive learning—encouraging children to repeat sounds, count along, and actively participate. These techniques are supported by high-quality audio production, with precise articulation and cheerful background music that enhances engagement without overwhelming the listener.
Overall, Learn ABC and Numbers is a thoughtful and practical learning companion. It introduces essential academic skills and cultivates a love for learning through sound. This is excellent for families looking to enrich their child’s early educational journey.

My Kid Asks for It Every Day
I got this audiobook hoping it’d keep my 4 year old entertained and now it’s part of our daily routine. It’s super engaging, with fun phonics and simple number games that actually hold her attention. I like that it mixes learning and play without feeling too much like a lesson. She’s already picking up new words and counting better. Great for car rides or quiet time.

My kid actually asks to do this—who knew?!
I got this hoping to sneak in some learning with my 4-year-old, and it actually worked. He keeps calling it his “special book,” which cracks me up. The mix of letters, numbers, and little activities keeps him busy for a while—longer than I expected. We even listen to it in the car sometimes. Not every part lands perfectly, but for the price and how much he enjoys it, I’m pretty impressed. Worth it for sure. Honestly didn’t expect much, but this book surprised me. My 5-year-old usually bounces off the walls when it’s learning time, but something about this kept him interested. We’ve been flipping through it a few pages a day, and he’s picking up letters and numbers way quicker than before. Not everything is perfect (a couple pages could’ve used bigger print maybe?), but overall, super happy I got this. Definitely made learning less of a fight.
