Boris speaks fluent russian, but probably never lived in english speaking country or even had a conversation in that language. His English pronunciation is terrible. By listenig to each and every word you can immediatelly say he is russian native. He didn't even put an effort to check if his pronunciation is correct using Google Translate. Garlic i "jar lick", Bear is beer, tie is tea and many other examples. I had to use either my previous knowledge of russian or my mother tongue which is slavian, to understand what he is talking about.

Good vocabulary builder. I like listening while driving or exercising. The narrator sometimes mispronounces the English words, so you have to use your imagination to realize "jarlick" is "garlic." This only happens here and there and does not detract at all from what the book is designed to do.

Perfection through Repetition

They didn't even take made the effort to get a bilingual person. The reader has a HORRIBLE english pronunciation and it makes difficult to understand "in the car".
