One of the biggest takeaways from Graceful Growth’s patenting title? Learning to listen. Because the truth is, we all want to be heard. And when we are heard, understood, and listened to, this brings about a massive positive change in the communicative environment of our households. So it was great to see the author offer conversation starters, which I thought was a fantastic addition to the title that is sure to bring about better familial connections. This is a lovely handbook which gives a unique perspective from that of the child's point of view and how it is like to receive feedback. It taught me as a parent I need to listen more and deliver feedback less often and with less force. Words matter and how they are received from our children cuts deep so we need to be sure we deliver it in a way that doesn't hurt or hinder, but gets the point across. I recommend to all parents!
