A GOOD CONTINUATION OF THE THREE MUSKETEERS STORY. A GOOD SHORT STORY LEADING TO A FINALE WITH ADVENTURE THRILL AND INTRIGUE. STORY IS ACCEPTABLE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. NARRATOR IS GREAT AND EASY TO FOLLOW.

GREAT SHORT STORY

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and any opinions expressed herein are my own.

To start, I loved The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas. This, not so much. It was a bit of a disjointed plot and had none of the spirit, humor, or joy upon which it is based.

The narrator, Alan Ceppos, has a strong French accent - which I found accentuated the material. However, the audio levels were poorly recorded - resulting in several occasions where the audio level dropped and the volume had to be turned up. Then, after a few moments it returned to normal - so the volume had to be turned down.

Lacks the Joy of the Musketeers
