Great Read

I don't usually write reviews but this was a very insightful book that made me think about things I either haven't before or haven't in a long time. It made me laugh and cry, it's a true roller coaster of emotions that I was not expecting. I recommend this book and can't wait for my next read.

Nicely done

Neil in his own voice. Other people read the letters written to him so you can distinguish who is writing. Anyone who enjoys listening to Neil’s calming and rational explanations will enjoy this production.

Carl Sagan would be proud!

I loved this book, I loved the way that Neil answers everybody so respectfully and humble. He reminds me so much to Carl and his eternal love story with sciences and the universe.

I really liked this one

Having the different narrators read the letters and Neil read his response is genius. This is classic Neil and his cogent, concise well articulated writing is a pleasure to listen to.

Top of my list-a book for all to read

While I don’t always agree with Dr DeGrasse Tyson, I have the utmost respect for him and I am never disappointed. Ever. His responses were all to the point and never mean spirited or spiteful. The book was interest was beginning to end and I’m so glad he narrated himself.

Intelligent & clever

This is my first exposure to Dr Tyson. I found his approach to answering the letters of fans and foes to be very entertaining. His responses were very clever, informational, intelligent and I opening. I love that they were also scientifically based. I appreciated the book being read specifically by him in his own voice as well as, the different voices for the people who wrote him letters.

A must read for curious people👌🏽

I'm so glad he did promo on 2 different podcasts that I follow because hearing him talk about this book made me buy it.

The fan letters were wonderfully varied. I learned a few new things that might stick in my brain as permanent knowledge. 👏🏽

And, his answer to why we're here made so much more sense than my faith based understanding ever had. The soul and ghost questions and his answers to both were also perfectly practical.

I loved the sound design and choice to have a full cast of characters read the fan letters. As many fans pointed out, Neil has a very pleasing voice and a very impressive way of educating while not offending or losing his audience.

Overall reading experience: Bravo!

Since there are only 50 characters in the title -

With billions of years of cosmic evolution, the universe can come up with our species and come up with members of our species such as Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson. I'm glad that that is the case.
