About this listen

This audiobook is about what it is like to grow up with Aspergers Syndrome and not knowing it until you are 17. I talk about all the ups and downs that have happened in my life. All the problems in school, with bullies, and trying to find my way in a world that is not designed for people on the spectrum. You will get to hear in my words everything that has happened to me. From my first memories, to being hospitalized, to getting a job, and having a girlfriend. This is a must listen for all parents of people on the spectrum and for anyone that wants to know what it is like to have Aspergers Syndrome or any form of autism.

i got an overdose of his miserable life. while the author has a good reason for it, still it was like listening to a friend that you dont talk to very often because they just want to tell you how shitty their life is. too many things were repeated. I started to think there was a glitch in the app. the entirety of the last chapter was a complete waste of time, listing every phobia he has, while stating the greek etymology but giving no anecdotal explanation.

What disappointed you about Living with Aspergers Syndrome?

The author repeated the same things over and over. The information was very disjointed.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator sounded like a teen even though the author is in his thirties. The sound quality was also way below the norm for audible books. It sounded like someone recorded it in their bedroom. There was even background noise picked up by the microphone.

Disapointing
