Publisher's summary

In the smoldering Memphis summer, someone is terrorizing the broken-down Deluxe Hotel, leaving dead women in the walls and the police out of ideas. But psychic private investigator Caitlyn O’Connell is the only one who can track the clues. Alongside her sexy ex-husband, (sometimes-boyfriend), Sam Pierce, Cait must find the killer while struggling with the "gift" that has cost her nearly everything. The second book in the Caitlyn O’Connell series, this paranormal romance steams with Memphis heat as Cait and Sam enter into the dark world once more.

Captivated From The Begining To The End

The second book in the series just a good as the first. Caitlyn is flawed. While she's a smart woman who knows what she wants, she gets tripped up by her past imperfections. Her ex-husband makes a perfect foil since his flaw is his wanting her.

Don't listen to this book if you don't like sex scenes. Devlin doesn't hold back on showing the physical attraction her characters have for one another--and occasionally the heat that happens when they fight.

The story is solid with a really nasty demon antagonist. There were times when the descriptions of the scenes got really graphic.

As in the first book Natalie Ross was magical in the delivery the story. I am looking forward to the next in the story line.

Yes, I enjoyed it that much. I don't usually revisit books, but I loved it.

What does Natalie Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I am a huge Natalie Ross fan. I found the series looking for something she narrated. I love her sultry, sexy reading voice! I enjoy hearing her read, but she performs the book giving each character a voice that matches their personality.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lost Souls?

when Sam requests our heroine to have a good life.

Which character – as performed by Natalie Ross – was your favorite?

Sam, of course, as Ms Ross's male voice is ever so sexy, which is why I buy most everything she reads with a male voice. Ms Ross is making this series a hit. Linda Howards, After the Night. WOW
