Publisher's summary

Sabine Debois likes her wine pink and her life predictable. As a private tutor for the rich and famous, she doesn’t get starstruck. But when a tattooed espresso fiend saves her from death by sweater, she’s a little bit…grateful. That’s all. Just grateful.

Sunshine Capone just had the best album of his career, and then his girlfriend burned down his house. Well, his ex-girlfriend now. So he moved to Chicago to focus on his music and avoid the drama of relationships.

He should not be creating any excuses to hang out with the sweet teacher with the hazel eyes and bright smile. She doesn’t need his kind of confusion in her life.

But Sabine’s about to teach this superstar a thing or two about peace, love, and understanding.

Cute highly entertaining

This book touched on sensitive topics but made them relatable. Slow burn story with all the feels.

You're amazing!

I am loving your stories. Thank you for putting your heart into your writing.

I would like to comment on the use of "girl" for women. As an agreed upon term of endearment I love nothing more, but as a survivor of abuse where a literal girl equals consenting woman, my heart breaks a little everytime I hear it used to describe a literal woman. Just something to think about. Thanks.

Sunshine & Dark Helmet!

This opposites-attract, slow-burn, rockstar romance is one of my favorite books this year! The bad boy rapper meets the adorkable good girl teacher. The instant chemistry between Sabine and Sunshine made my heart ache in the best way. If you’re looking for a fun, witty, heartwarming rockstar romance, then Sabine and Sunshine will steal your heart.

Samantha Brentmoor and Liam DiCosimo were perfectly paired for this dual narration! Their styles and pacing compliment each other well; the audiobook flows beautifully throughout. Samantha’s performance of Sabine’s delightful, whip-smart, sweet character is fabulous. Her voice for Sunshine Capone was perfect! Liam DiCosimo catapulted Sunshine’s reserved, goofy, loveable, and charming personality off the page. Lost Track is a relatable, heart-melting, swoony, low-steam romance. Lost Track should be at the top of your TBL!

Just right

Heidi has created a universe of real fictional characters. She describes a scene and their thoughts so well, my mind can imagine the rest

A bit of a crush

Well done!!! Besides making a guy with face tattoos be a dreamy guy…. No cussing!!! No use of the Lords name in vain…..
If a story about a rapper can have no cussing then more proof it isn’t needed to make the story good. Thank you . These characters were a pleasure to get to know

BEST one in the series!!

I liked the other Heidi Hutchinson book in the Common Threads world of Smartypants Romance, but this one is GREAT! Such great writing. I really appreciate the inclusion of a neurodiverse MMC and the unique way he navigates the way his mind works. The way she writes friendships and protective best friends is so real and wonderful! The narrators do a very good job of voicing all of the different characters as well.
You will not be disappointed if you use a credit on this book.

DNF: Lighthearted romance but not for me

The funniest part of the story was in the sample audible. The fact that the main male character had a disability was refreshing, but I often felt it was told explicitly and repeated multiple times. It was shown through his actions and thoughts too (which was great) but it just felt like it was being overdone. There were sweet moments between the leads but I often wondered if that was how adults, in that type of situation, would have acted. The plotline was interesting, but I often had to push myself to listen to the story so DNF.
