Publisher's summary

Anna Andros, a new Christian, becomes enraptured by the worship leader on stage each Sunday. His love for the Lord appears as solid as his strong muscles on display each week. The attraction is mutual, and Anna is drawn in by his charm.

Meanwhile, she becomes closer to another man, this one a lifelong Christian and family friend. Conflict arises as she is torn between the two men in her life. Is the worship leader as genuine as he seems? Or is the one she has known for years who God has in mind for her?

A crisis at the church puts things into perspective for Anna. Who is the one who will stand beside her? Why is the pastor turning a blind eye to the hurt Anna endured? Will God answer prayers and give Anna the healing and love she so deserves?

Great

This is the second book in the series. This was a good book. It is a reminder to always ask for help no matter what. You never know who you may help.

Sad but uplifting

I was looking forward to Anna Andros story. This one touches on physical and sexual abuse, including not being believed. Hard subjects to talk about, but Tara Taffera did such a great job with these topics. I loved Anna from the first book and couldn't wait for her "happily ever after". I like that Taffera brought back and incorporated Gina, Christian and the others in the first book. These characters already felt like family and bringing them back into this book, made the book more enjoyable. Like the first book, this one was so sad but uplifting and hopeful at the same time. I listened to the audio version of this book and once again, Wendy Arcega narrated the story. She has such a great voice. I loved listening to her and was at the edge of my seat the whole time. Great narrator. Highly recommend this clean romance.

ah...

also in this second book, like the first, it was a little too Christian for me...
the characters were a little less annoying than in the first book, but the story was not relatable for me in this one as well.
The narrator was still annoying and it was difficult to understand which character she was talking as - she was more of a reader than a narrator.
