The Brimmage sisters have an unbreakable bond. Trust and loyalty are at the forefront of their sisterhood. But when the girls' hearts are captivated by the Borrego brothers, several secrets are kept, and many lies are told.

Risa is a college student who's been trapped in a four-year abusive relationship. After a particularly brutal attack, Risa finally decides she's had enough and leaves for good. When she meets the smart and sexy businessman Micah Borrego, they hit it off almost immediately. Unbeknownst to Risa, Micah battles with a serious sex addiction, and true commitment might be impossible for him.

After Dre Borrego tells her that he doesn't want to be in a relationship, she finds herself running through one man after another, attempting to mend her broken heart. Raina, whom they affectionately call Baby Girl, experiences both love and heartbreak for the very first time at the hands of Damien Borrego. Damien finds himself struggling to hold out for this young girl, but the convenient sex that comes along with his popularity and family name gets him every time. Raquel, the feistiest sister of them all, is a talented musician with a non-existent social life. Melo Borrego takes on the difficult challenge of trying to break down the iron-clad walls she has built up around her heart.

Find out what happens in this roller coaster love story when secrets and lies unravel and the hearts of sisters are put on the line for the infamous Borrego brothers.

Actually very good

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews. I agree with some regarding two Narrators (Dre & Reesa), they were thumbs down. The story got me though. It’s like reliving your drama filled youth. Being gullible, selfish, ignorant, fast, and reckless. These young adults are a mess. Lets see if they mature as the drama unfolds in book two.

Good Storyline

The storyline was really good, however, the narrators were the worst! I almost stopped listening 30 mins into the story due to the voices... OMG! I hate that the narrators failed the story

Great storyline!

Ok, sooo this is my first read by this author (although I’ve had this book in my kindle to read for years)! This story goes hard Ms. Johnni Sherri. You did your thing Ms. Ma’am! I was well entertained thought out the book. Although, I did have it in the kindle verseion, I decided to listen to it through audio book. I personally didn’t like the narrators and wish I would had proceeded to read it instead. However, it didn’t take too much away from the fire story line. I really didn’t understand why Risa didn’t just go to the cops when she found Zo’s body. Maybe she thought that because he was abusive towards her, she would had been the first suspect. I am not sure but that part made no sense. Micah’s ass was just a straight up man whore I didn’t care for him that much. Now that I think about it, the only one of the Borrego brothers that I did sort of like was Melo. I think Melo and Raquel need their own storyline! Romi had a a lot of drama going on in her life. She is an example of how arrogance and beauty could be a woman’s downfall if she doesn’t humble herself. I still didn’t like how Dre did her though. Even though he was cold with it, I didn’t like the way she lied about the paternity of the baby. Lastly, Dame was my most disliked Borrego brother! He treated Raina as if he was God’s gift to women and she was still nice to him no matter what! This story was such an enjoyable read! On to book 2!
