Loved how this story continues to show developed bad boy characters being good in ways that are acceptable for true love.
Not sure if FBI and dark crime would really merge together, but nice to think it can.

I enjoyed listening to this. However, it was somewhat rushed. I didn’t quite understand the last four or five chapters. Learning who the kingpin was in everything made sense, but it didn’t make sense.

I bought this series to listen to when I walk. It was so good that I couldn’t stop listening! I finished all three books, now I have to find something else to listen to while I walk. Luke and Anna are a great couple that had to really work at getting back together. Work, understanding and time. Loved the suspense and action. Both actors are amazing!

I love diving into another Lisa Renee Jones series and I had been waiting for Lucifer’s Trilogy to be completely released. Then I decided to grab it in audio for the ultimate experience since the always amazing Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt narrated this story. Let me say, this was just what I was in the mood for. The story has tension and suspense - a second chance, romantic suspense that will keep you guessing. Luke (Lucifer) and Ana have so much tension between them with the events of the past keeping them from giving into the red hot chemistry that brews between them. All 3 parts of this story are high on fast paced action, steamy tension, mystery, and quite a lot of tension breaking spice.

They were once in love, but life and tragedy tore them apart. When threats from an unknown enemy thrust them together, they must learn to trust each other again. Their heat and passion ignites while they track down the source of their trouble and uncover truths from their shared past. Their journey to find a mysterious package reveals ghosts - both dead and alive - and they discover that they may have a future together after all.

I have always loved Lucifer in the other stories he appears in and was one of two characters I wanted to have their own stories. He was every bit of the good guy with dark edges I’ve always known him to be. Ana wasn’t what I expected, but I liked her better for it. She was just as skilled as the guys, but more emotionally vulnerable that you might expect. It made her a bit of a paradox at times, but honestly she worked for the story. I wished they had worked it out a bit sooner and had more of an opportunity to work together as operatives in the story. There is more focus on their past and the rocky dynamic that it created between them rather than the suspense plot. While I really enjoyed this trilogy, it doesn’t top my favorite of LRJ’s stories. Overall, I felt like this was an excellent addition to the expansive Walker Security series and sincerely hope to get more in the future, particularly Adam’s HEA.

This series was really good! The suspense and the 🌶️🔥🌶️🔥 were just right! The narrators were awesome! I love love love listening to Jason Clarke narrate a book! His voice is 🤌🏽💋!!! You will enjoy!

The series could easily been covered in two books. IMO, the third book went in circles, where Anna constantly kept questioning and doubting herself about her relationship with Luke. Honestly, the uncovering of the truth and who was behind it all, clearly lacked an action packed ending. Once again, Jason Clarke does an amazing job narrating and personifying all main and secondary characters.

I have to say of all the books I've listened to from LRJ this was the most disappointing. I kept waiting for the excitement to happen, never came. Where was the revenge in the story. I kept waiting for Luke to go ballistic. The story did not go with the title. I waited patiently for the release and was so excited when it popped in my library. This was definitely not worth the extra month I waited.

This is are my last books from LRJ. Three books that could have been written into one max two short ones. The plot was good, but my god as soon as it was getting interesting she throws in a sex scene. Don’t get me wrong I love me some steamy & spicy, but come on you can’t use sex scenes as fillers. That’s my take!!!
The reason I got the book was for the AMAZING NARRATION!! Andi & Jason are an automatic buy for me.
