About this listen

Tall, dark, and deadly, these men run Walker Security. Each is unique in his methods and skills, but all share key similarities. They are passionate about those they love, relentless when fighting for a cause they believe in, and all believe that no case is too hard, no danger too dark. Dedication is what they deliver, results are their reward.

Meet Lucifer, one of those men . . . a man with demons that run deep and dark . . .

The only woman who can bring him to his knees . . .

As one of the newest members of Walker Security, Lucifer lives up to his name. He's a man with demons that run deep and dark. A man with secrets. A man betrayed by a woman, and that betrayal has shaped every part of his life moving forward.

He lives on the edge with fast cars, faster woman, and some might say a death wish. That is until he crossed paths with Walker Security and one of their own pulled him from the bowels of his self-created hell.

But his own personal devil is about to show herself again. That woman from his past is back, and nothing is as it seems.

Contains mature themes.

Enjoyed

I hate being left out hanging! That being said, I’m happy I have the other two books in the series ready to go! Luke and Anna are an interesting couple with an equally interesting past. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next. Lisa put in just the right amount of steam, intrigue and suspense. Jason’s performance and voice make me quiver, perfect for Luke/Lucifer. Andi is great as Anna. Perfect casting.

Damn!

I enjoyed listening to the storyline. Lucifer and Anna were meant to be together. get me all my toes and I was thoroughly impressed with the storyline. I’ve listened to Adrian's Trilogy and I am definitely looking forward to many more.

Intriguing story

The narration by Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke will suck you in. This thriller - the first of 3 parts will suck you in. On the run with the motive unclear, Anna and Lucifer reconnect with their broken past still hanging between them.

Another fast paced suspenseful read

I love diving into another Lisa Renee Jones series and I had been waiting for Lucifer’s Trilogy to be completely released. Then I decided to grab it in audio for the ultimate experience since the always amazing Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt narrated this story. Let me say, this was just what I was in the mood for. The story has tension and suspense - a second chance, romantic suspense that will keep you guessing. Luke (Lucifer) and Ana have so much tension between them with the events of the past keeping them from giving into the red hot chemistry that brews between them. All 3 parts of this story are high on fast paced action, steamy tension, mystery, and quite a lot of tension breaking spice.

They were once in love, but life and tragedy tore them apart. When threats from an unknown enemy thrust them together, they must learn to trust each other again. Their heat and passion ignites while they track down the source of their trouble and uncover truths from their shared past. Their journey to find a mysterious package reveals ghosts - both dead and alive - and they discover that they may have a future together after all.

I have always loved Lucifer in the other stories he appears in and was one of two characters I wanted to have their own stories. He was every bit of the good guy with dark edges I’ve always known him to be. Ana wasn’t what I expected, but I liked her better for it. She was just as skilled as the guys, but more emotionally vulnerable that you might expect. It made her a bit of a paradox at times, but honestly she worked for the story. I wished they had worked it out a bit sooner and had more of an opportunity to work together as operatives in the story. There is more focus on their past and the rocky dynamic that it created between them rather than the suspense plot. While I really enjoyed this trilogy, it doesn’t top my favorite of LRJ’s stories. Overall, I felt like this was an excellent addition to the expansive Walker Security series and sincerely hope to get more in the future, particularly Adam’s HEA.

So so

Book was a little l tense with personal issues; this was a bit boring. Narrators did a great job; just not really into the storyline. Already purchased the rest of series and will continue listening to them later. Must find another book that keeps my interest.

Cliff Hanger

I hate rating a book that is really only a portion of the actual story - this is a major cliff hanger
I gave a four star for the performance based on Jason Clarke as he is a 5 star Andi Arnt unfortunately was a 2 maybe 3 for me- at least she is playing a character who is mature - unlike some of the young parts she takes that ruin the book.
