About this listen

Traffic is at a standstill on the road into the city, and temperatures are already in the '40s. While everyone succumbs to exhaustion, one woman bears the burden of trying to keep everyone else alive. Even if it means keeping them in the dark about where they’re really going.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it once more: I don’t like open endings. I was, however, quite pleased with this one because the entire story had been building towards...something, I won’t say...but in keeping with the strange, mysterious nature of the story, the ending fitted quite...nicely.

The narrator is deeply pleasant to listen to, and has a very youthful energy, her voice is makes words pop and made even the darker portions of the story, there were quite a few, enjoyable to hear.

I received this audiobook free from the author in exchange for an honest review. I didn’t know what to expect when I started this book, and it kept me guessing half way through it and at the end. This is very unusual story telling and I love it. I hope to read/listen to more by this author and I loved the narrator, Stephanie Montalvo.

Unusual but awesome book.

Mad things is a good title because this one is off the charts crazy. It stretches your mind in the wrong direction like it’s cork screws in your head every off the charts crazy thing that could happen to a person or persons. So what I recommend it, sure I would, I dare you to read this or listen to it.

HOLY MADD

This was an interesting little story. Could have been a Twilight Zone episode. This is the story of people trapped in a traffic jam or is it? This was a well written story that keeps you guessing at every turn.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

Not what I expected
