Couldn’t stop listening

This is one of the best books I have really enjoyed listening too I would share this book to my friends/family. I like that it gives the vibe of D&D. Kind makes me want to play D&D again.

No motives

The characters didn't have believable motives.the ending was most unbelievable.I enjoyed it until the finale, but it made no sense.

Where’s the meat and potatoes?

This story was okay, but not great. Not sure how it got such a high rating, but it was not earned. This story felt rushed, and left so much out. The author seemed to have a decent idea, but I think a better editor would have pointed out the many ways that the story could have been further fleshed out and better character development (ex: it would have been nice to learn more about Cameron and the other girl whose name escapes me, or when the MC overheard the conversation with the suspicious dude Tarton? Was that his name? Ugh, nonetheless, the MC literally overheard dude plotting, then proceeded to ignore it all-no further development of this plot twist, no dissection whatsoever with the girls, just all twitterpaited-love struck girl syndrome). Overall, I think if the author had a better editor this story could have been much better and I’m shocked there is more than one. With all that, and as things stand, this story reminds me a good deal of a short series by Mercedes Lackey, (the Hunter series), with a mix of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger.

If you’re just looking for something to pass time, I suppose this is worth a listen, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I certainly would not pay for this book.

A good story with ok writing

The story is interesting but, it doesn't feel as flushed out as it could be. The plot feels rushed and some minor characters are given too much time while some major characters aren't given enough.

ugh

I like the idea of the story but it's to rushed in some places and to slow in others and mostly about the mc and her love life not about beasties and magic .
