About this listen

Dragons once soared in the skies, but that was before the Transformation, before they took human form. Now, demonic forces stand to obliterate them. When left mortally wounded, Darnuir, the Prince of Dragons, can only be saved through a dangerous rebirthing spell. He is left as a babe in human hands.

Twenty years later, Darnuir is of age to wield the Dragon's Blade. As the last member of his bloodline, he is the only one who can. He is plunged into a role he is not prepared for, to lead a people he does not know. Shadowy demons ravage his new home and the alliance between humans, dragons and fairies has fractured.

Time is short, for new threats and deadlier enemies are emerging....

About the Creator - Michael R. Miller

About the Creator

Michael R. Miller: Hailing from the wet and wild west coast of Scotland, Michael enjoys writing stories as sweeping in scope as the ancient landscapes he grew up in. His writing is known for rich character arcs, tight pacing, and layered magic systems. Songs of Chaos is his love letter to the dragon rider sub-genre, drawing inspiration from the classics like Pern, Dragonlance, and Eragon and combining them with the harder magic systems of Branden Sanderson and Will Wight, creating an epic tale all ages can enjoy.
Michael is also ‘that guy’ who enjoys-well, enjoyed... -discussing the mad fan theories of Game of Thrones even more than the books or show, and knows more about World of Warcraft than is probably healthy.

Prince of Dragon

It leaves you wanting to read the next one. It has a lot of characters at times moving about in one scene but it is worth following.

Rejuvenated and reborn

The prince of dragon kind is re-born to live among humanity. An interesting premise to be sure. This story brings a new and refreshing take on the concept of dragons, wizards, faerie and trolls to the genre. The story is well crafted and leaves the listener anticipating the next volume. Strong narration aides in the development of the characters and breathes life into the story.

Ok

The beginning is a bit hard to follow. Became more interesting once you have progressed into it a while.

Great!!

Love the narrative on this book. The different voices lends a great deal to how well it comes off as a story. I could picture it as it went. Great job.

Dullest story ever!!!

The beginning seemed interesting but as it got on in story it just was boring. Fight after fight with demons and dragons, and humans just wasn’t a good story line.
The narration was beautiful but the story line not so good!

I liked it.

Slow start made me unsure at first. The blanks in the beginning are a little confusing, but patience with the story line will pay off. Ready for book 2.

A good beginning' for a good dragon series.

I got this book free so i could hear it and tell you if it was good or not.

Michael R. Miller gives me a dragon story that but me on fire (See what i did there?), and i wanted to hear more. This is such a good book, and its a almost full score. Narrated by Dave Cruse means also a nice thing. He is fantastic. He makes the book coming true.

Great book

Any additional comments?

This is a great book to start a series. I can't wait for the next book. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
