Publisher's summary

It was a night of passion with two best friends.

How was I supposed to know they’d end up being my teachers?

Professor Carter refuses to acknowledge me.

He doesn’t do his students. And he doesn’t do relationships. It’s the only way he knows to protect his broken heart. Professor Everett is the sweetest.

But what else could I expect from this attractive bear? If only he wasn’t so desperately in love with his best friend.

Is there space in their bed and hearts for me? Or am I just the wedge between the two friends with benefits?

Me Three is the second book in Rhys Everly’s steamy, low-angst teacher/student romance series A Proper Education, but can be listened to as a stand-alone.

It contains a nonbinary character, best friends to lovers, steamy threeways, and a poly-for-you trope.

Sweet

Nice light and fluffy MMM book. If you would rather have a book full of drama and angst you should probably go look elsewhere. I enjoyed the narrator and it is great to see an NB character involved in this one. They don't get as much representation in books as some others.

Tru, Carter, and Everett

Me Three is part of A Proper Education series. This was an enjoyable book about a non-binary student, Tru, and two of their teachers, Carter and Everett. I liked how strong Tru was and wasn't afraid to go after what they wanted. It was nice to see a non-binary MC. Carter and Everett are best friends with benefits and happen to work at the college Tru attends, though they didn't know it at the time of their first hook up. What could've been awkward turned into a lot of sexy times, and Carter working on his relationship issues. Though I'd have liked more character development, over all this was an enjoyable book.
Narrator John York does a fabulous job and is a joy to listen to.

loved it!!

I freakin loved this story!! I usually don’t read or listento a lot of MMM stories, but this one was excellent! It was on fire hot, steamy and sexy!! I was so excited to get Tru’s story! The author paired them with a pair of best friends who have a friends with benefits partnership AND they’re both Tru’s professors. Carter doesn’t do repeats and he certainly doesn’t do his students. He’s been hurt badly in the past and cannot take any chances with his heart again. Everett was super sweet and in love with his best friend. This was such a good story!! LOVED IT!! John York did a great job with the narration, spot on!!

So fun!

Carter, Everett, and Tru's story is a lot of fun. I really like that Tru is confident in their self and goes after what they want. I love Tru's sassiness, too. I also like seeing Carter and Everett allow their relationship with each other to change and grow.

Fun story

I enjoyed getting to know Tru, Everett, and Carter though some of these characters need to get better at communicating. They met though a hook up app and these characters had different desires for how much more they wanted in the beginning. It was a fun and light story and I way more of these characters. Their relationship development was a lot of fun to read and they had some great chemistry!

A steamy MMM romance 🔥🔥

I absolutely adored this steamy MMM poly romance.

This was an adorable student /teacher, friends to lovers, opposites attract contemporary romance.

This was pushed all my buttons as it had all of my favorite tropes in one steamy novel!

The narrator did an amazing audio delivery and narration.

The characters were likeable, relatable and well fleshed out.

Definitely recommend this gem!!

Tru, Tru, Everett, and Carter

Tru, Everett, and Carter meet from a hook-up app and Tru wants more. Carter has difficulty facing his feelings after a terrible relationship. Everett and Carter are both horrible at communication, especially for being educated men. I would have liked more writing on their developing relationship rather than filler between lengthy sex scenes.

Scorching Age-Gap Romance Times Three

I already enjoyed this steamy professors/student poly romance as an e-book (original review below), and narrator John York delivers an entertaining performance here. He has a youthful-sounding voice and really captures Tru's exuberant spirit.

To say "Me Three" is a scorching hot read would be an understatement. Beyond that, though, is a sweet love story about two best friends-with-benefits who are secretly in love with each other and the take-charge younger person who helps bridge the emotional gulf between them.

Carter, Everett and Tru are all such unique characters with different needs and perspectives, and how Ev and Tru bond and help Carter heal his emotional scars to forge a meaningful, loving relationship between the three is touching.

Toward the end of the book, it does seem like the steamy times dominate the story a bit too much, and I don't think a big enough issue is made about Carter and Ev being Tru's college professors. I was left wondering why it's not just disclosed outright since it's technically permitted, particularly given Carter's early concern over the matter and because left unresolved it casts an unnecessary shadow of secrecy over their relationship. I received this free review copy audio book by request and have left this honest review voluntarily.
