About this listen

To the peril of all who accompany him, a salvager sails the globe searching for a creature supposed to have gone extinct before the time of the dinosaurs. Megalodon was the length of a sperm whale with jaws that could swallow an orca. Its teeth that still wash onto distant shores measure six inches from tip to root. How much fame and fortune awaits the one who proves such a monster from the Pleistocene still exists?

A video surfaces purporting to document a megalodon attacking an adult sperm whale. Treasure hunter and soldier of fortune Enzo Palmer becomes obsessed with proving it's real. With his voluptuous inamorata, skeptical partner, and his somewhat harebrained paramour, Enzo embarks on an around the world monster quest. From Key West to the Sea of Cortéz, the team dives, trolls and trawls in their high stakes voyage to prove the gigantic living fossil still lurks in the depths. However, there is competition on the horizon in the form of a slightly deranged megalodon enthusiast who has the support of environmental activists with malevolent intent.

Can't even get shark anatomy right?!?

The delivery was terrible. The story was terrible. School is now in: females have cloacas, males have claspers, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

This was maybe halfa$$ effort all the way around.

Dont' waste your $ or credit!

This book was so awful that I'm not sure where to begin. I guess I'll start with the narrator. Michael Goldsmith is AWFUL! He talks like he has a mouth full of spit. He is monotone with absolutely no inflection to his voice at all. So much so that I didn't know where one sentence ended and the next began. As for the story, I found that I really did not relate to any of them. Enzo is a real butthead; Mona is a gold digger; Victor is a wimpy pushover; Allison lets Enzo use her to promote his projects by having her pose in skimpy bikinis. Also, there is one part toward the end of the book which is absolutely ludicrous! Completely unbelievable! Then a bit after that part, the book just ends abruptly. This really is an AWFUL book. The author must have had friends and family rate this for him because I find it hard to believe that anyone would give this book a positive rating!
