Great book
It's obvious the author has experienced dealing with ADHD himself and he has a deep understanding of the issues that men face when dealing with the challenges of ADHD. This book has a lot of great ideas and techniques for dealing with many situations that occur with life, work and relationships. It covers many good ideas about keeping to schedule that keeps yourself productive and also covers how diet and exercise can also be beneficial. It does touch on medications but I like how this was more about things you could do for yourself to cope. Would recommend to anyone with ADHD that needs a little help coping.

Often Misunderstood, ADHD in Men is Real
"Men with Adult ADHD: The Efficient Playbook" is a must have in your library if you are dealing with ADHD or have a loved one in your life that has ADHD. The book has great empathy for those living with this often misunderstood diagnosis.
The author goes into solid routines to help you in the journey. Some men may not sit down to read a book on the topic, but perhaps listening to the audiobook on a long commute would be a terrific idea. It has many steps that men or anyone could take to help them succeed in all parts of their life.
The narrator is brilliant and easy to listen to. Add to your library!

Practical and easy-to-follow
The overall impression I have of this book is that it explains things very clearly. There are no complicated medical terminologies or concepts; it's just plain and easy-to-follow narration. The author discusses what life with ADHD is like for men, how it develops, and how men can live harmoniously with it, sharing his own experiences. He explains what ADHD-friendly jobs are, the reasons behind these choices, how to manage emotions, and how to maintain a healthy relationship with a partner. He also talks about the importance of routine and finding a balance between routine and flexibility. While a routine is helpful for creating stability for mental and physical health, it’s okay to adapt when emergencies disrupt a set routine, such as going to the gym at 6 PM. It’s better to go late and keep up the routine than to abandon it altogether. This book is a very practical guide, and each piece of advice comes with clear, persuasive reasons behind it.
