Narration is very poor

I was hoping for something much more in-depth. BUT that's not the main reason for the low score, its the narrator. As he speaks his pitch starts strong and when he finishes a paragraph, he drops off to an almost inaudible hearing range. More than a few times i found myself saying out loud "WHAT?" i exchanged this.

Don’t buy this.

Oversimplifying, this book is an oversimplification of the human condition, an oversimplification of the human enterprise, and an oversimplification of the human mind.

This book is not about mental models, this is about tips and tricks and hacks.

If over a period of time you’ve been curious about the concept of mental models, you’ve already heard of or read about the contents of this book.

You could have written this book, but you have self-effacement, modesty and humility, and for you it would be intellectually dishonest.

Very happy to have listen this .

I would suggest this book to anyone that wants to build or complement a decision-making toolbox. Some of the models project and watch each other, which, in my mind, helps strengthen the learning of each principle.

Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Was really excited to dig into this because it sounded as if there were going to be deep dives into models and how to use them but it turned out to just be a lot of common sense and surface stuff.

Really useful information!

This is a great book that takes some problematic ideas and distills them to their essence. Need the basics, and this book delivers on that. Many good ones are chosen and illustrated with easy to follow examples.

It's a very cool way of think.

He reviewed each model thoroughly, gave an example, and went on. The book was well creative, so I get many of the principles.
