After defeating the ice giants of the North and saving the dwarves, Mason faces his toughest challenge yet: politics.

usually after the 3rd or 4th book in a series everything is watered down and predictable. this series is going strong with great new characters and evolving old ones. now that you have taken us to elven lands I am ready metal mage 12.
thanks for releasing them so quickly. I have hear/ listened/ read 350 books. hands down favorite author . the narrators are the best in audio book narration, without question. there are great male and female voices, I may start buying books to listen to them.

Seriously, what a final battle. Not that the many others weren't impressive. And I need some of those berries. For an old arthritic fart like me to get extra vigor would be a godsend or goddess send in this case.

Love these books the whole goddess bet is a nice touch but the woman he has collected are the best part hope he gets a new one soon I have just bout got all of Eric Vall books so far only need a couple more he writes just what I like to hear ! fidget

*might be some minor spoilers*

I loved the first two books and part of the third. but when the entire series is just conflict it just gets frustrating to listen to... Don't get me wrong, a good book needs conflict, but it also needs more. When every person you meet hates you, insults you, or tries to kill you the book looses its edge.

PROS:
*My all time favorite narrator duo.
*Interesting characters.
*High suspense without resorting to dark themes.

CONS:
*Main character has become a wimp, people literally tell him he should kill his women and throw their corpses in the forrest. And he still helps the people who say this....
*Except for the women, and recurring characters, everyone in the series HATES the MC, and that gets old fast.
