Without realizing it, I owned another book by Lexi; Carnage Island and I loved that one so much I bought it as a hardback. She’s quickly becoming one of my FAVORITE authors! Character and world building is something she excels at!

OMG this series is so amazing, but I really didn’t doubt it considering who the author is. The way she literally keeps you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out the plot is genius. This book is no different. You go in wanting to throat punch a few guys, but by the end.. eh you just want to throat punch one of them. I can’t wait for the next book and the multi character narration is fantastic!

My only issue with this and the first book is that I wished the author or editor would have not used “inky” and “drawled” over and over again. There are plenty of other descriptive words. But on the other hand I suppose you could turn it in to a drinking game and take shots each time those words are used lol 😝

Oh my goodness this series is so addicting and by far one of the best Fae paranormal romances, I’ve ever read. The Midnight Fae Academy is such a juicy world and makes me wish I had taken all of my college courses there with Zeph as my instructor. I can’t wait to see how it plays out in the next novel. And those male voices are totally dreamy. The suspense is great. The character’s have strong, relatable connections. The end will have you doubting which character you love best, And Shade....poor Shade. Why did you leave me hanging like that???

I love everything about this series so far, The characters, world building, narration is on point and the spice is very nice! 🌶🌶🌶/5, just the right amount. Not total smut, but enough to keep it interesting. Ends on a cliffhanger of course, so I can't wait to start book 3 now!

4.5 stars! Magic, passion, hate, deception, mystery, revelations, this book has it all. As Aflora’s powers continue to grow, and the danger of others learning of the quad bond increases, things get more and more interesting. As bonds are solidified, and alliances are forged, we are given more insight as to why exactly Shade bit Aflora in the first place (and there is definitely more than one or even two sides to THAT story), just enough to get us through this second book to keep things intriguing - especially when a fantasy lover turns out to maybe be a bit more than a fantasy. The plot thickens...

The full cast, duet style narration is fantastic. Each narrator does an excellent job bringing these characters even more to life, and makes that story that much more enjoyable!

omg where to start??!! Aflora feels absolutely betrayed by Shade, Kols & Zeph & doesn't know who she can trust.. she still longs for her earth magic & worries about being a abomination!! She's still struggling to find out her heritage as well. While not trusting the guys, she still feels the connection to them. As she is working towards this her powers become more unstable & she feels more like an abomination. Will she figure out her heritage & get these powers under control before the council decides she needs to be killed??

Wow! The plot thickens and I have no idea where this is going! This book ended on a crazy cliffhanger leaving me wanting the next book NOW!!!

Aflora and her mates are just starting to find out the truth about her past and it’s now coming to fruition just how her mates are a crucial part of where the future leads. That’s if she chooses that path. Only time will tell, when we read the next installment of this addicting series! The narrators really bring this story to life and I can’t wait to see where this story will take us.

Oh Fae- what in this Realm is going on? I can’t wait to see!!
