Minimalist: Living with Less
Whether you are a minimalist already and wish to explore new ideals or you are new to the teachings of minimalism this audiobook is for you. Can you imagine being free from the rat race and escaping the trap of consumerism and no longer having to be stressed out about having too much stuff? I know it can sound like a daunting task, but I have been there and done that. I pride myself on having success in being a full-fledged minimalist.
I strive to live a stress free life by leading a simply and frugal lifestyle. I know what it is like to be cluttered both mentally and physically, having a hard time concentrating and at the same time not being able to find anything around the house. It is stressful!
Even worse is the feeling of buying and accumulating things that you don’t really need just because they are new and they are the only way to fit into modern-day society. Now I think completely differently. I have a newfound outlook on life, and I am willing to share it with anyone who wants to know more about it. I currently live in a small home that I was able to pay off by living frugally, I was able to quit my full-time job, and I am extremely happy with my life. I get to travel, write, and help people, which are the three things I am most passionate about. In short you can say I am living the dream. And so can you! So what are you waiting for?
Here are just some of the topics we will cover in detail:
- What is minimalism?
- How you can become a minimalist
- How to get in the mindset
- Declutter your home and mind
- Finally live stress free!
- How to live frugally
- Step by step process to cutting back
- Tips for saving hundreds of dollars
- Minimalist tips plus a free preview of our book on tiny houses.

While I don’t currently practice minimalism, nor do I agree with every one of the motivations to do so listed in this book, after listening there are enough reasons to give it a try that I think anyone could appreciate at least the concept.
From less stress to saving money and having more time to focus on things that matter such as time with family or traveling, to specific ways to follow through and start letting go of all the extra, I happily recommend this book.
I especially appreciate that, in true minimalist fashion, I was able to listen to the entire thing on my commute to work thanks to its brevity.

In this book, Kevin Brown shares his story of how he became a minimalist and explains how to get there. It is not an easy road, especially for a pack rat like myself. However, the book gives you easy steps to follow.
This book helped me strip down all the clutter in my life. I wouldn’t call myself a minimalist yet, but I have definitely minimized the amount of stuff that added stress to my life.
I recommend this book to anyone that is new to minimalism and wants to live more stress-free.
