About this listen

Justin, the Marquess of Fontaine, and Lady Sophie Milton-Riley, are completely ill-suited to one another. But they will have to prove it in order to end to their mothers’ insistence that they should marry. Yet the more they attempt to demonstrate how wrong their union would be, the more surprisingly, irresistibly right things feel....

The story of Lord Fontaine - the rival of Remington in Dangerous Liaisons. How he uses the same tactics to have his happily ever after. Loved every minute of it!!

Sylvia D delivers as always—too short wished there was more

“Have you ever contemplated walking on the surface of the moon?”
A sweet, not too angsty, romance between childhood friends now separated by their circumstances.
Or more precisely, her scandalous circumstances. I liked that she was an already experienced woman and could therefore initiate and enjoy. I also appreciated the mild humor and the meddling mommas.

“His C twitched wearily, insanely interested despite being spent.”
While it is sweet and moves along at novella speed, there’s a surprising number of naughty scenes. These are dirtier than the traditional Bridgerton style of regency bed play and more aligned with this author’s contemporary books. I myself found them delicious, particularly with the new-to-me narrator, who delivers a sexy male voice.

Sweet and salty, like any good bite-sized morsel

I enjoyed listening to the story A Little Romance and a bit of erotica steamy sex

I love Sylvia Day, but was disappointed with this story. No true passion and blasé performance. Other series are more interesting and engaging. Not worth the money, but still an ok listen.
