Publisher's summary

While visiting a young woman - who was not so fortunate as Miss Georgiana Darcy in escaping the persuasions of a rogue - Georgiana meets Sir Camden Sutton, whose reputation causes Georgiana to wonder as to his motives. Her wondering soon turns to a different feeling when Sir Camden comes to stay at Pemberley, showing himself to be a very different man than was rumored. While Sir Camden struggles with his past and his commitment to his future, as well as the ill intentions of haughty Caroline Bingley, Miss Darcy must decide whether to listen to others, or the words written on her heart.

Love this series

Another fun sweet story weaving Georgianna to her perfect match. I enjoyed seeing all the other P & P characters woven into the story and their reactions to the situations that came up. I also enjoyed Camden’s resurrection in finding himself thanks to Georgianna and Darcy and Elizabeth’s help along the way. I love the entire Love at Pemberley series. They are a delight to listen to with the voice of Kate Sample and the stories are sweet, funny, well thought out and well written. In particular the descriptive metaphors and similes. I have all books in the series and listen to them frequently. They are so relaxing and even put one on right before I go to sleep. Kate is a wonderful narrator. I hope Reina Williams and Kate Sample team up again for more P & P stories.

Good, sweet reading reminiscent of Jane Austen

Georgiana is a lovely young woman, who had almost made a terrible mistake. She was rescued before the impossible happened. Georgiana could have chosen to be angry and bitter, but she chose a different path, not cutting herself off from the possibility of romance and falling in love. She is a giving and caring friend and she cares deeply for all her friends and family. Her concern for Lizzy and her unborn child is particularly touching.

She and Camden make a great couple, as she chose to trust him and let him in, in spite of his checkered past and the way he had lived his life. She was drawn to him as he made positive changes to be all that he could be.

Lovely story and the choice of Kate Sample as narrator was serendipity as her quiet, serene, beautifully modulated voice renditions was perfect for the period where women were expected to be obedient and very submissive. The crux of the story was Georgiana's decision to change her mind and allow herself to fall in love. And forever after is always wonderful.
