This audible version with Claire Danes narrating is absolutely fantastic. Her voice pairs beautifully with the story. The added music and sound effects (cats purring, wind blowing, etc) is an excellent addition. This is one of my families favorites!

Amazing

The background piano music that never stops, joined by other noises meant to dramatize the story, renders this recording impossible to listen to. Whoever thought that this brilliant, timeless, beloved story needed to be tricked up with noise should be fired on the spot.

Unlistenable
