About this listen

Heartbreaker. Playboy. Reckless. Wild and rough. Those are just a few of the names she's called me, but I don't care as long as I get what I want - her heart.

She deserves more than I can give. Problem is she's all I want. The smart thing would be to stay away. And believe me I've tried. I've kept my distance for four years...and time's up.

Isabelle Stewart is mine.

I've been a fighter my entire life, and I'm not afraid to fight dirty - especially for her.

This novel is a full-length contemporary sports romance novel. It contains mature themes, steamy, sexual scenes, and graphic language.

Moody... (Sigh)

I ABSOLUTELY loved this book!!! It is one of my very favorites!!! C. M. Seabrook writes one hell of a story. I love the way she makes you feel like you are part of the story. The narrations for this book were amazing also. The voice of Moody was very sexy to say the least. I can't wait for more audios from C. M. Seabrook.

Well written sexy read

This is the first audio book I have ever listened to and I loved it.I am truly grateful the author of this book granted me the code to listen to this book. I have read this book countless times but it is a completely different experience with the audio book. I would definitely this book in both formats.

Fighting for What Matters.....

Moody was my first book by this author. Moody is a fighter who falls for his best friend's sister but after a heated night with her, up and leaves for several years. News of her enagagement has Moody back in town and when he finds out exactly who Izzy is marrying, he is definitely not happy. He goes on to make it his mission to apologize for his past mistakes and give him a second chance, all while also helping her brother find his way out of the unfortunate situation he has also managed to get himself into.

Moody and Izzy have some serious chemistry. This book had a lot of drama and kept me interested the whole time. I was happy that after the years apart that Izzy and Moody were able to work through their issues and reconnect and get their HEA!!! I also enjoyed the author's writing style and would definitely like to read more from the author.

I enjoyed both narrators. This was my first audiobook by either narrator and I thought they were both easy to listen to. I would be interested in checking out more of their work. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Very good stroy, enjoyable narration

What about Jeffrey D. Peterson and Ali Peterson ’s performance did you like?

I liked how they both characterized the different protagonists with slightly different voices.
Comparing the two performances I liked the pace Jeffrey D. Peterson used for narration a bit better.

Any additional comments?

I liked the story very much. I haven't read it before so it was a completely new experience. Good characters, well written plot.
This was a first experience for me with an audiobook narrated by multiple (male/female) "voices". I would have liked a bit more flexibility/playfulness within the narration. I mean sometimes the mood or action of a given character wasn't conveyed accordingly (like talking about how sad the character was in what sounded like a cheerful voice).
Other than this the narration was very enjoyable.

Nice

The storyline was good and really fit the bad boy romance motif. The characters were good and made you want them to have a happy ending. The narration was okay. I really enjoyed the combined narration between Jeffrey and Ali Peterson but their narration style was quite flat. There were parts where the narration detracted from the storyline because of the performance being inconsistent with the verbiage and scene. Overall, I’d recommend the book, it was nice.

Performance threw me off... he sounds like Eeyore

overall I like the story even though I was able to pretty much guess what Jason had up his sleeve. I really like the story in general. the performance by Jeffrey was not so good. he puts me in the mind of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. something to do with his inflection. initially I thought that it was because of what he was saying but even when there were happier points in the conversation his voice stay the same. definitely could have been better. on the other hand, Ali's performance was great. I have had several books where she was the narrator and she always does a good job. The light lilt in her voice adds to the performance. overall great story but I would not listen to it again.

Didn’t like h character

The h in this story was dumb. She always made the dumbest decisions. At one time, she put herself where she almost got rape and she was a doctor? This was not a romance story. It had too much senseless angst. I’ve skipped so many times to get to the end.

loved it

I'm not a huge fan of audio books but once I started listening to Moody I couldn't stop. Moody is hot and sexy and he wants Izzy back after having screwed up in the past. specially when he finds out she's getting married.
Izzy was hurt by Moody in the past she when he comes back into her life she doesn't know if she can trust him.
throw in enemies and bamm! wicked story.
you won't want to miss listening to it

Always fight for love

Moody feels like he doesn't deserve Isabelle because of a horrific accident that almost took his best friend. Who happens to be Isabelle's  brother.
Moody and Isabelle learn to  always fight for what they  want.
I really loved this book. I read it once then I reread it with the audible. I felt like I got more out of the story listening to it the second time.
I just wished that when the narrators were reading it when he growls he did it in a growling voice instead of his normal voice, and when she sobs it sounded like she was crying. Other than that it was a really good audio. I'd recommend it listening to it.
