About this listen

Fate makes no exceptions.

When stepping into a town full of werewolves like me for the first time in my life, I expected to be welcomed—or at least tolerated.

Instead, I got hit in the face with a door.

And then, found my dad's face on a dartboard in their diner.

The people there need my help, but I can't help them unless I tell them who I am. And telling them who I am just might get me killed.

The one connection I find comes in the form of a gorgeous, inked-up chemist who's the only person in town that doesn't hate me. He could be exactly what I need in more ways that one—and I'm pretty sure he's my fated mate.

Every day I'm there seems to increase my odds of dying as the townies try to force me out, but I refuse to back down.

I'll save them, even if they kill me for doing it.

This new-adult paranormal romance is recommended for ages 17 and up due to language and sexual content. It contains the complete Moon of the Monsters trilogy, including Where the Werewolves Run, Where the Lycans Howl, and Where the Monsters Change.

kept you interested. ending was good.

the narration would have been way way better with both narrators. Ot made the story hard to listen to with one female narrator trying to do all parts. the male narrator was amazing. you should have kept him throughout the entire book. the ending was really good though.

Very enjoyable

I’m really enjoying the books. I’ve read by this author or listen to as the case may be and I am really hoping that there is more in this world that she created. I’m going to be looking for a which river series just to enjoy more more of the same world, although this series does not leave you hanging

Great Read

I thought the story line was very good and written well. I liked Cass's character and loved that she was so independent and strong as well as compassionate when it came to the well being of others.

great story line

enjoyed very much. worth listening to. Cas and Keet are so adorable together. Their little surprise was the cherry on top and calling her Perri in honor of her dad 😍. Sadness for those who just refused to change for the better. Glad Addy took some time away to think and see different surroundings. Clear her head so to speak on what she felt was best for her.

Mixed emotions

In general, I prefer fantasy with a little bit of romance; instead of a romance with a little bit of fantasy. This series seems sometimes just a romance and sometimes more fantasy. The first book had a good story to it that I enjoyed. The second book was more about sex scenes, new relationship angst and chisel muscles for the first half. Around chapter 15 it finally got into a good story. I’m just glad that I stuck with it. I had almost stopped listening. The third book gave me a sense that it was geared more towards the younger readers. In fact, maybe the whole series was geared that way. The reason that I got that impression was the almost tutorial description of a woman’s period and her monthly cycle plus the intense emotions, that seemed a little overblown. I did stick with it, and in general I enjoyed a good part of it, but I also fast-forward through some of it as well.

Don't get sucked in by dual narration

This definitely feels like a YA book, especially how the sex and bodily functions in general are handled. It's fine, but expect the characters to be quite immature, and for some of the logic of their decisions to just not make a whole lot of sense.

In addition, the male narrator has a speaking time of less than 10 minutes for the full 3 books, most of which is epilogue.
