About this listen

Marry the king, save the world.

When the fae came, their magic brought destruction that only stopped when we offered them the one thing they wanted:

Wives for their kings.

I was selected "at random".

Sacrificed to the fae.

But the sexy, infuriating king I'm paired with doesn't want my body or soul; he wants my help.

Thanks to some kind of prophecy, he and his people think I can get them back home.

Getting them back home will require taking some of the king's magic, which is unstable on the best of days and catastrophic on the worst. When the power takes more effort to control than I would've ever guessed, I'm forced to turn to my husband for help.

But the fae never give anything away for free, especially knowledge.

It was supposed to be simple:

Marry the king, save the world.

But now that we're married, and his power is becoming mine, our marriage might end up destroying the world…and I might be the one who destroys it.

This new-adult fantasy features sarcasm, mermaids, and slow-burn enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance. Binge the complete trilogy now!

Love this series!

I read this series a little while ago and had to get the audio version too! The narrator is really good, has great inflection, and knows exactly what parts should sound sarcastic, etc. Audio track is well done and the narrator is a good choice as well. I hope the rest of them are coming out eventually, I can’t wait! This is one of my favorites to re-read.

Was A Good Read

I like the way the author grew the relationship btw Noah and Auden, and the narrator did a great job brining them to life. Can’t wait for the next one

Futuristic Fae Love

After looking for a new Fae book, I was really happy to start this one! It didn’t disappoint. November’s personality hits right back to Odin and they make an enticing pair. I love that this has both an Earth and Fae world experience too. A twist at the end leaves me wanting to know more and see how the Queens stories unfold too!

Interesting world premise, very immature writing

The characters felt like they were written by a teenager. There's a lot of angst and not a lot of substance or growth. The story really glossed over the world ending disasters and focused too much on cutesy interactions. Wasn't my cup of tea but if you're looking for something light hearted it might be worth a listen.

I LOVE this audible book

I am obsessed with this series. I have read and reread them all. I was so excited to get the audible version and it did not disappoint. It was interesting to hear Auden's accent and I loved Noah's personality. I hope Bound to Human comes soon on Audible!

I had a few good chuckles!

Not bad! Easy going. Not a big fan of cliff hangers so that definitely puts me off, the beginning of the book breezes over a massive global apocalypse, I really wish we just focused, so many characters but so little insight of the the male pov. These are just my random thoughts take them with a grain of salt. The book was good, not great.
