About this listen

I almost hooked up with a werewolf… but before we got to third base, he dragged me off to jail.

Apparently, he's the leader of the pack in town.

The fact that I’m an illegal blood wolf—a vampire/werewolf hybrid—doesn’t help my case.

And he didn't appreciate me accidentally biting him when we were kissing, either.

Luckily, or unluckily, he seems to think I'm his true mate, which means he won't let anyone hurt me.

But he also won't let me go.

Between his possessiveness, my need to be near him, and the vampire clan hunting me, one thing's becoming clear:

I won't be able to avoid my werewolf forever.

This is a steamy, fun full-length standalone romance with a happily ever after!

Good story but annoyed with length

Enjoying the first book in this series, but annoyed at the length of each book. This could easily have been made into one or two books instead of three. I hate spending money/credits on books that are only a few hours long. I think the last book in the series is only like 3 hrs. Seems like they're just breaking the story up into more books than necessary to make you pay more. Wish I would have noticed the length before I started.

Cute read, easy paced writing/reading

NARRATION
Reading speed: 1.5x
Emilia Bauer narration is good for this character. Her change in inflection for each character doesn't change much but enough for the listener to have an idea who is speaking. Nick Mondelli narration caught me of guard but it felt like it went with the character.

STORY
FMC: Lovene Hansen a.k.a Love
MMC: Archer Madden a.k.a Madd
Tropes: Fated mates
The relationship between the FMC and MMC is interesting; i was annoyed with both of them but there banter kept if entertaining. I loved the side characters because they kept the book light. The dialogue between the main characters and their wolves was entertaining as well but the FMC wolf ANNOYED me immensely. I don't think i will continue the series.
