About this listen

Just what happened when the Time Machine returned? Having acquired a device for themselves, the brutish Morlocks return from the desolate far future to Victorian England to cause mayhem and disruption. But the mythical heroes of Old England have also returned, in the hour of the country’s greatest need, to stand between England and her total destruction.

I really enjoyed this book! I enjoyed the plots and the surprise ending. I only wish it could have been a little longer.

Very well told with great story plots

The story was very strange, but somehow he pulled it off quite well. It reads like a classic and is well-written, but I couldn’t stand the narrator’s voice. Maybe listen to a preview or find another version, or maybe I’m just weird

Great story, bad narration

What did you like best about Morlock Night? What did you like least?

The premise - of carrying forward in some way from the amazing story of The Time Machine - is a great one. I like that idea very much and it is probably the primary reason I purchased the book. However, the loose plotting, lack of internal consistency in relation to the source material, and general goofiness was not to my taste.

Great Idea, Disappointing Execution IMO

An outstanding reading of an excellent story. Steampunk at its finest! So many threads all tied into a single, coherent plot!

A Steampunk Classic
