Even better than the first in this series

A great travel adventure with the perfect amount of character development and setting descriptions. No language or sex scenes, just missions and plot. Very pleasant and appropriate narration.

Character growth strong

Character, setting, plot--all very strong in this installment. Mrs. Pollifax's development as an adjunct to the CIA is strongly in evidence, and plausible. Her relationship with the other spy is really well-drawn. It was an absorbing book. Well-done! The narration by Barbara Rosenblat is top-notch.

I still love this series!

I feel that the narrator gives good life to the characters especially Mrs pollifax. The storyline is great. And I can't wait to read the next book.

Nice little story. My first listen of the series.

Would you listen to Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station again? Why?

No, once is enough. It was clear and complete.

Which scene was your favorite?

Not sure

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really

Any additional comments?

Cute story. A little bit of mystery and humor to make it an enjoyable listen. Might listen to another in the series.

Outstanding!

Have read or listened to this series twice and loved every minute of it. I just may listen to it again. I first read the first book when I was in Junior High School. I am now older than Mrs Pollifax was in the books.

Still grand

Can’t be beat. Everything is wonderful. All aspects of these books are a joy. Mrs. Polydactyl is such a great yet uncomplicated character.

Great adventure & a thrill

Another great Mrs. Pollifax adventure story & informative about China's land & history. I recommend taking notes so you can look up the landmarks. You might want to take notes of the characters, also.

Characters all come to life!

It’s always the plot and characters that capture a listener. What an adventure with this group! The series transcends time and geopolitics. I felt I was there (thanks to the perfect narration) and can’t wait to go back to another remote location with Pollifax and company.
