Publisher's summary

Opposites attract, but similarities bind. And to find out those similarities, you need to communicate.

Bianca Torino is the hotheaded Italian Lead Driver for Mischief Motors, the most elite private car service in Las Vegas. Their newest client, reclusive British author Oliver Bellamy, is in town to research Sin City for his next book, and much to her chagrin, Bianca is nominated to be his tour guide. Oliver is the stereotypical Brit, stoic, brooding, stiff-upper-lip, and all that. But there’s a good reason for his reclusiveness. A reason that he keeps to himself.

Until now.

They only have the one month Oliver is in Vegas to figure it all out. And time is nobody’s friend.

Book #3 of the Drive Me Wild Series is a found soulmates contemporary novel for listeners who like a little steam, a side of humor, and a dash of drama with their romance. The series features stand-alone stories of Mischief Motors' women and the men who think they can handle them.

Enjoyed the story

I found the story really enjoyable and played with my emotions but flowed really well. Shane East was great with his narration and I have heard and enjoyed Lacy Laurel's performance on other books but struggled with her british accent when listening to this book.

Bianca and Oliver

I love all the personal growth this book shows. I also am obsessed with the instalove twist on this story. While they both felt it so strongly, unlike a lot of these stories the hero didn’t jump in with both feet right off, but she did. With that said he is still very alpha but like most alpha male hero’s he thought he knew best for all involved lol.

Also I really respect that Oliver being from England the voice actor for him was British as well! It bothers me sometimes if there is supposed to be an accent but there isn’t one in the audio book.

Anyone can be loved

What a emotionally packed story! You all will love this. Feeling the emotions of Oliver as his story and health unfolds make you want to jump through the phone and hug him. When he meets his driver Bianca while on travel in the US he has met his match. She is a no nonsense go getter and I love that. Bianca makes sure Oliver knows everyone deserves love no matter what they are facing in life. Amy Booker does a heck of a job writing all her stories that I have listened to so far and can’t wait to get more. Shane is an all time fav of so many and he nails it in this book too! Lacy did an awesome job as well. All the feels were in this book. Well done to all involved in giving us this story 👏

Well rounded romantic story

This is a beautiful story about love at first sight but the worry that since you are hiding a secret, love could not fully blossom. Both the MMC and the FMC are really well written with lots of depth and I love how strong the FMC is! It has some great tropes in on including:
Love at first sight
Grumpy vs Sunshine
Impossible love
Stuck together
And an HEA

Amazing Preformances and Story!

Ms. Lead by Amy Booker was a beautiful story. I meant to review this title sooner, but time got in the way in any case, this book was enchanting and relatable even though I don't have multiple sclerosis. Shane East's performance of Oliver was heartfelt and angsty with a lot of rage and frustration. He really brought emotion to this character! Lacy Laurel did a fantastic job as well bringing to life Bianca. The main characters, Bianca and Oliver, meet on shaky ground at first, but we soon realize the pain and suffering Oliver is going through. I enjoyed the instant palpable connection Becca and Oliver had from the start, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship evolve to the end. They had their struggles, but I believe most of it came from Oliver's side. My heart hurt for him when he constantly felt like a burden. Overall, this book was worth the listen there are so many emotions and it gave me a perspective on how bad multiple sclerosis can be.

So….

Listened to this book because of Shane East - big fan! The story drags a bit but my road block was probably the female narration. Was not a huge fan. Sorry, Ms. Laurel. )-:
