About this listen

Who killed Ambassador Bloodarrow?

When the Lord of Tarsis finds himself with a politically volatile murder on his hands, he turns to the three most expendable inhabitants of the city of a solution. A mercenary, a poet-assassin, and a thief might not be everyone's first choice for detectives. But they find they're quite good at bringing murderers to justice.

Perhaps a little too good....

Murder with Magic

Really enjoyed it. The end was a little bit of a stretch but enjoyable. Hazzah

Entertaining

This was a particularly interesting tale. The first Dragonlance novel I've read that played out like a mystery.

Amusing enough

Would you listen to Murder in Tarsis again? Why?

I might listen to it again - it was a nice and short and was a good break from reading whole trilogies. It seems like they could bring these characters back in another storyline and if they did I might refresh myself with this book. Although it doesn't seem likely with the amount of time that has passed.

What does Donald Corren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Donald Corren does a good job of voicing the characters - most are distinct and he has a nice range of voices to use.

Great for fans of DnD

The story is reads like a great DnD campaign. The narration is excellent. I found this author in the SPQR series - I wholeheartedly recommend it!
