This book just isn’t a mystery worth reading. The writing is good, so if you want to read a light novel with incidental death go ahead. But the plot is tenuous and uninteresting.

Boring

The story has interesting elements but I never feel invested. The narration is dull, almost lifeless. The combination is very meh. A good story to listen to when you want to go to sleep. More development of story elements and a snappier delivery could help add a few stars.

Could Easily be Better

It portrayed the Tor climb as easier than it is. But it was quite enjoyable.

A wonderful conclusion to the series thus far.
Room for a sequel but a fitting end of no more books are being written.

Intriguing

I’ve given this particular narrator a fair chance (3 books) and I just can’t.
No matter how good the plot is, or how good the characters are, or how clever the humor, I CANNOT LISTEN TO THIS NARRATOR’S CONSTANT WHINING. She does Libby a great disservice because she makes her sound pathetic and needy even when the author (I’m assuming) has no intent to make her seem that way!
I’m skipping all of the books read by this narrator and going to the later ones where Charlotte Stevens reads. She does the other series by this author and I think she does at least 200x better than Jennifer Dixon. I’m honestly surprised that this type of cadence is appealing to anyone.

Terrible narrator

Jennifer Dixon's narration continue to be absolutely awful. She drags on and you cannot tell once she's changed from one character to the next

Great Story Awful Performance

This book had so many twists and turns I loved it and the ending was a surprise and had a very satisfying feel to it!

L The tour murder on the tour was awesome

The story sounded like stories I read when I went was in middle school. The main character Libby, was quick to feel faint and shocked and had childish thoughts, reactions and responses throughout
the book. Several characters went on & on about blaming themselves for things that happened during the story and in the past. The narrator portrayed some characters as being a sullen little girl.

More suitable for teens.

The story is fine and would be enjoyable with a different narrator. Dixon makes all the characters sound like they are 60 years old and the same person.

Narration ruins it
