Publisher's summary

A murdered art teacher, a piano bar, and danger for Sheridan Hendley, amateur sleuth.

Sheridan Hendley, amateur sleuth, wants nothing more than a return to routine following their family vacation. The last thing she needs is to find herself involved in another murder investigation. But that's precisely what happens when the victim is one of Maddie’s favorite teachers at the high school. While Sheridan’s trying not to sleuth, the high school principal assures everyone Sheridan will find the killer. Despite an abundance of people wanting to share their thoughts on the teacher, Sheridan and the police are stymied.

An artist and music buff, Alyssa Drake was last seen alive at the Old Thyme Piano Bar. As Sheridan starts to put the pieces together, she realizes the victim may have uncovered funny business at the piano bar that led to her death. Now the killer, sure Sheridan knows more than she does, is after her. Join Sheridan, Brett, and their friends as they enjoy the piano man and uncover the killer.

Emotional Cozy Mystery

I enjoyed this story a lot. I really liked the characters that are featured in the "Sheridan Hendley Mystery" series and their familial relationship. Christa Nardi has written a story that turned a spotlight on a very emotional subject for women today. I want to express my appreciation to the author for that. Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo's narration was fine and kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

A Wonderful Series!

This is the seventh book in the Sheridan Hendley Mystery series and I enjoyed it very much. If you're a cozy mystery & an animal lover, you'll like this series! I'm looking forward to listening to the next book in this series. The narrator, Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo, has done a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. You can't go wrong with any book written by Christa Nardi or narrated by Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo. I would like to thank the author, narrator, or publisher for providing me this audiobook at no cost in exchange for my unbiased review & I look forward to listening to more books by both the narrator & the author.

What a return from vacation.

This is the seventh in the Sheridan Hendley series. Sheridan, Brett & Maddie return from Ireland to find a body in a local gas station restroom. As they wheel the body to the ambulance, Maddie asks if that is her art teacher.

Unfortunately, the young woman dies enroute to the hospital. It looks like an overdose until they dig a little deeper. The young woman doesn’t drink, believe in drugs, and is focused on her teaching and art.

Maddie’s mother has filed for a revisit of the custody agreement she agreed to. Maddie does not want to live with her mother.

It was pretty obvious to me why Sheridan was subpoenaed in the custody case but it took everyone a while to catch up to my deductions.

I liked how the teacher helped from beyond the grave. Her drawings and the killer’s actions made it much easier to find the killer.
I really enjoyed the mystery. Hopefully, there will soon be a permanent resolution to Maddie’s custody arrangement.

I highly recommend this series and this book. Can be read as a standalone.

Loved it

This is the first story in this series that I've heard and I loved it! The story moved along at a good pace and the characters were relatable. I always appreciate when an author makes it easy to jump into a series anywhere and still feel like you "know" the characters because enough background is given. I listened to this book on a recent 5 hour car trip and it really helped to pass the time because it kept me interested. If you love a good cozy mystery I think you will love this one. I will certainly be getting the rest of the series!

I was provided with a copy of this for free, but all opinions are 100% my own.

Fabulous Story! Fabulous Series! Fabulous Finish!

The vacation is over, Sheridan is exhausted, and all she wants is a clean rest room! Should be simple right? Only something is blocking the door from the inside! What could it be? If you guessed a body, well you would be … right! “Music and Memories, Another Murder” is the seventh and final book in the Sheridan Hendley Mystery Series and it does not disappoint! Saying goodbye to this delightful cast of characters is so hard, but what a fabulous finale! Beautifully written, throughly engrossing, filled with mystery, intrigue, suspense, heart pounding action and leaving no loose ends, I loved everything about this one! I especially loved Christa Nardi’s true to life, convincingly realistic dialogue and the way each character’s storyline came to such a satisfying conclusion! No spoilers! I don’t want to ruin anyone’s fun! I do want to mention that this story is not only timely, it’s also a cautionary tale. What is depicted could, and I am sure DOES happen, both here and in other places around the world. There are lessons to be learned and I cannot recommend this story highly enough, both for its entertainment value, and it’s awareness value! Five AMAZING stars! Thank you Christa Nardi for an amazing story and a fabulous series!

Teacher Found Dead

In this edition of the well narrated nine book series, our adjunct professor slueth finds a young teacher dead in a convenience store bathroom; and Investigates. Believable characters in a understandable plot. Cozy mystery. Offering an idea for a future book in series....kill the partner's girlfriend and allow the "Uncle" to stand accused.

two for one

There were two stories in this small package. Brett's ex continues to bring the unwanted drama. *sigh* On the other hand. Sheridan can't seem to stay out of harms way. She almost became a victim a few times, but being Sheridan she doesn't let danger stop her. This was very suspenseful and filled with non stop action. Maddie really showed her metal in this one. Kudos young lady! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. This is a fantastic series I enjoy very much.

Great Interesting book

You have a great well developed storyline with good character development. The storyline is unpredictable so it maintains your interest unlike other books that you can predict the outcome from the beginning. This book keeps your interest and keeps you wanting more. With the interesting and believable characters the narration clear you can easily follow the individual characters throughout the book. I highly recommend this book.
