Okay

This book was okay. Comments are as before, why break this series into 4 books and stop abruptly to add another book to it. This should have been one book instead of four. Not sure why the author did it this way. Get a male narrator next time to fully develop Steven’s character. This is what’s hurt these books in addition to 4 short length books. The commentary at the end is also annoying.

money though?

I didn't like this one as much as the first 2.. again a bit rushed and the whole conflict was about her con artist cousin and getting angry at her man for being a victim when she never warned him what she might try, but the girl is family so of course he thinks he should try to help even if there's mud in the water between her and her cousin; the whole conflict was over money and her cousin conning him was somehow his fault when she didn't even bother calling or sending him a message that she tried making her ask him on her behalf even..... I'm stuck on that bit how it was all about their money and not enabling a bad cousin why they fought so angrily.... moving on to the 4th book that's on audio; hope this one is better.

Some improvement

Would you try another book from J A Fielding and/or Stacey Pearson?

I'm on the fence on this one. IF the author combines her e-books into one and the narrator brings energy to the tale, I might.

Has My Man, My Family turned you off from other books in this genre?

I love the genre. This series' plotline had potential. It was just poorly executed. Again, this installment had potential that was not capitalized.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Stacey Pearson?

Maybe someone like Simi Howe, who brings a certain believable energy to every story she narrates or Honey Jones.

Could you see My Man, My Family being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Again if the series was combined, some interesting plot twists added, energy and passion, I could see this being a feel good Hallmark movie.

Incomplete

I felt like this should've been longer more background with why they hated Marina. Julie and Steven should be living together by now with all they share I don't know this story seemed very juvenile imo
