An unexpected gem!

A story about humans and their complex relationship with technology that took me completely by surprise. What started out as a heartfelt story about a man and his AI creation quickly takes a dark turn that I loved (which makes me question my own sanity) and wasn’t expecting. Shepherd writes beautifully and seeing as this was my first book by him, I’ll absolutely be checking out his other work. Highly recommend this one to any horror or even sci-fi lovers.
