Publisher's summary

Dr. Joshua Hamlin considers himself straight, but a persistent student, too much tequila, and a flash of red satin panties have him questioning everything.

Atticus is always crushing on the wrong guy. First it was his roommate. Then his yummy but straight—and married—drama professor. Turns out Professor Hamlin isn't as straight or married as he thinks.

As thing heat up between them, they realize that someone doesn't want them together and will do anything to make their point.

Can Atticus and his professor find true love? Or will this need to be together cost them everything?

My (Not So) Straight Professor is an over 90,000-word MM romance and the third book in the Not So University series. It can be listened to as a stand-alone, and has an HEA and NO cheating.

Romance with some Mystery

This was my first book in this series and the story made me want to go back and start at the beginning to get more information on the supporting characters who previously had their own story. Atticus and Joshua’s story was interesting especially with the mysterious stalker twist. I am excited about what’s coming next, I’m hoping for a story between Trace and Liam and to learn more about Sam.

Atticus and Joshua

My (Not So) Straight Professor is Book 3 in the Not So University series. I love this series and this book is a wonderful addition. Atticus finally gets his own professor, but he and Joshua have a mystery to solve first. This book has suspense and a who-done-it that had me guessing until the very end. I loved how Joshua was trying to protect everyone he cared about but in the end he and Atticus were better together. I loved the Pooh Bear references, they made total sense. I definitely recommend this book and series.
Narrator Kevin Earlywine is a newer narrator to me and is becoming a fast favorite. He has a wonderful voice and does an amazing job in bringing these characters to life.

loved atticus and josh!!!

Loved Atticus and Josh!! My (Not So) Straight Professor can stand on its own although you’d probably enjoy the first two stories in the series. Atticus and Josh must work through a bit of stuff before they can get their HEA, along with a mystery. They have fantastic heat and chemistry! Overall, a fantastic listen! It was well written and flowed at a good pace and kept me engaged, couldn’t atop listening to it. Kevin Earlywine was fantastic with his narration! Well done!

Romance with a mystery

Atticus was a complete and welcome surprise that was utterly adorable. I wanted this for him since we met in book 1. I was not disappointed- quite the opposite! I Ioved the fierce loyalty of his friends. Carrie was Ike a dog with a bone and didn't know when to stop with Josh !!! It was scary how sick the perpetrator was when revealed. Who knew?? Great story. Trace was a real wild card right to the end. lol. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. Awesome series.

Love this series

I've adored this series for what it has to offer. And I was so excited that Atticus was getting his HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed his idiosyncrasies. This story offered a little more mystery than the prior two. A stalker is after Attie and Joshua and I enjoyed trying to figure out who it was. Kevin Earlywine is new to me, but thought he did a great job of differentiating the two main characters. I especially loved the accents of some of the side characters. I've read this whole series, but this is the first one I have listened to. Will need to go rectify that now!

not my favorite of the series

I wanted to love Atticus and Joshua. I did. I really, really did. And a mystery? I was so there. But I couldn't seem to like or care about either of them. I found Atticus to be annoying and Joshua to have way too many hangups that miraculously disappeared after getting to know Atticus. Sure, I guess, some things can be worked through and over time fade but I don't know. I honestly found Trace and the detective to be far more interesting.
Another great job narrating by Kevin Earlywine, even if I did catch myself losing interest now and again.
I received an audiobook from the author but a review was not required.

not my fave of the series

Atticus is an endearing hot mess while Joshua is a hot mess who really shouldn’t be dating anyone. There are a lot of funny moments throughout the book thanks to the friends and colleagues we’ve met prior to book 3 and to be honest those moments were my favourite scenes in this book. The mystery of this story kept things interesting, helping it to stand out from the rest of the series and I was enjoying it, but the eventual reveal seemed outrageous. Atticus and Joshua, while having some sexy scenes together, did not seem like they had a lot of true passion and to me they seemed like the type of couple who wouldn’t go the full distance together which is what a romantic HEA should be all about. After happily enjoying books 1 and 2, It hurts my heart a little to have to write a negative review on book 3. Kevin Earlywine as narrator did a great job on an otherwise mediocre story. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.

A Nice Easy listen!

The audiobook, My (Not So) Straight Professor, was an easy listen, with a happy ending, some mystery, and drama. The audiobook narrator wasn’t too bad; I believe I will listen to him again.

The friends in this audiobook were not great. At times the friends of the main character were rude and unsupportive of the main character’s relationship. This audiobook was good, but the friends made it difficult for me to connect with the story. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.

Not what I was expecting!

Atticus and Joshua’s story was not my favourite out of the 3 books in this series ! While I appreciated some of the moments between them, there were too few! I however did enjoy the whole mystery surrounding the events that were happening to them and who was responsable for that. I am excited about what’s coming next, I’m hoping for a story between Trace and Liam and to know what is the deal with Sam !

Wonderful book!

I really liked Atticus and Joshua, they had amazing chemistry and I enjoyed their characters as individuals too. They were interesting and well written. The suspense plot added something extra to this romance story and made it even more intriguing. And I really liked the side characters, they were all amazing! The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. I loved listening this book and I recommend it.
