About this listen

I broke the cardinal rule and slept with my sister’s best friend.

Granted, I’d just found out that I was now a single father to a three-year-old little girl and was low on willpower.

It should also be noted that there’s been sexual tension between us for years. There’s no way it would be a surprise if anyone in our small town found out. That is if we were telling people, which we’re not.

We’re in agreement to keep our affair a secret, especially since neither one of us do relationships.

You’ve probably figured it out already, but things didn’t go as planned.

Great story

I loved this book by Piper Rayne and it was wonderfully narrated by Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum. They brought the story and characters to life. I really enjoyed their portrayal of Jed, Molly and little Amelia.

Happy Endings are the best!

Molly & Jed are my new favorite couple!! And Emilia is the cherry on top! I love that even with tons of baggage, they can both find their love for each other. The rest of the Greene family stuff is just bonus content!

Jed & Molly finally get their story!

I am so glad the audiobook released early, I absolutely loved the narration from Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum, they did a great job with bringing Jed and Molly to life.

Jed and Molly have been flirting with one another for ages, well since we first met them anyway, and it was just a matter of time before they got together and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's grateful that we didn't have to wait any longer for their story. But honestly, I have been dying for Jed's story since we found out that he had a daughter that he knew nothing about, can you imagine finding out that you fathered a child three years ago and didn't know about it...geeze louise that's gotta hurt. And how would Molly play into all of this? Well, thank's to the powers that be...namely the writing duo of Piper and Rayne we are gifted with a story that was so beyond what I had ever imagined it would be.

Jed's father did a real number on him and his siblings when they were younger so they are each dealing with things as they find their HEAs. For Jed he has sworn off marriage and kids, well if that isn't karma throwing a wrench into things for him I don't know what is. But it's a perfect way for him to realize he isn't his father and he can do better, and watching him come to that realization is a wonderful thing. Emilia is the cutest little girl and she will have you wrapped around her finger in no time at all. Molly's backstory is one that I hadn't expected at all and wow did it add a new dimension to the story line.

This story is one that is very easy to recommend to just about everyone. If you enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Small Town Romances, Reformed Playboy Romances, Boss/Employee Romances, Sibling's Best Friend Romances, or Single Dad Romances I would recommend this book to you.

Happy Listening!!!

All the stars 🌟

I'd have to say Jed and Molly are my favorite couple in the Greene family. Maybe it's the unexpected baby trope or maybe it's the sister's best friend one, or a combination of the two but these characters gave me all the feels!!! I like that Molly didn't seem like a doormat or desperate when it came to Playboy Jed and once they got together there was no cheating or OW drama.

Another amazing book……..

I’ve been waiting for Jed and Molly’s story. The surprise of Jed being an unexpected father in the last book had me anticipating this one. It did not disappoint at all. I love the Greene family and how all of them support and put each other in their place when needed! When Jed finds out about being a dad, he loses himself in Molly. She’s his sisters best friend and someone he’s always flirted with but never crossed the line because his sister would kill them. But he needs comfort and she’s there. It’s suppose to be a one time thing. He can’t imagine being a father because his dad was so awful and destroyed their family, he doesn’t want to repeat. However, he’s a dad….. time to step up. With family members putting him in his place and Grandma Ethel and her bestie Dori on the case of finding all her grandkids happily ever afters….. this book is fantastic!!! Also the ending was a total OMG…… I can’t wait for the next book!!! The narrators were awesome in this book!!! Highly recommend!!

Another Greene Banger!!

Once again, Piper Rayne has knocked it out the park! I’m obsessed with the Greene family and Jed and Molly’s book was everything I thought it would be and more. Both of them were the unwilling victims of small town rumors and unwanted reputations. In this book, we get to unravel the layers and really get to know them and I loved it.
These two were like two peas in a pod even if they denied it at every turn. Watching commitment phobes fall in love is one of my favorite things and Piper Rayne seriously delivered with Jed and Molly. I just engulfed their story greedily. Watching Jed embrace fatherhood was so beautiful. The emotions in this book was an unexpected hit to the feels. There was also the hysterical antics from our favorite grandmas, Ethel and Dori and their friends. A Greene book isn’t a Greene book without visits from some of the siblings and that’s always a treat.
Piper Rayne perfected the artful balance of emotional, sweet, steamy and fun in this unputdownable read. And boy oh boy do they know how to leave you desperate for more because that ending has me counting the days until the next Greene family installment.

Uneventful & slow

Disappointing plot. It’s a song with a single note playing over and over. Ending seen a mile away. Sorry. Narration the best part
